Clinique Exfoliating Scrub Reviews

Good Basic Scrub
I've found scrubs that make me crazed with joy, but Clinique's does a good job at exfoliating. It can be a tad harsh at times, but I still like it. — 3 weeks, 2 days agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Clinique
I found this scrub to very gritty and irritating to the skin. It also had a funny and medicinal smell. It left a residue on my skin that had an unpleasant feel and a somewhat chalky appearance. I found it to be very overpriced. I do not recommend this. — 5 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 2 people said helpful

Pretty Good
I used to use this before I applied self tanning lotion. Smoothed out my skin and made the self tanning lotion apply much better and even. — 6 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Great for oily skin
This is another great scrub from Clinique. It cools, refreshes skin, and removes flaky dead skin. I sometimes use it for my elbows and knees too....;) But my mom, who has sensitive skin, thinks that it is a little harsh. — 4 years, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 6 of 11 people said helpful

LOVE this product - so refreshing
This has an amazingly refreshing, cool feeling upon application, even more so than Neova's microderm scrub. My skin felt so much better after using this - super clean but not tight. I'm so glad I tried it. I'm headed to Europe soon and this product is definitely coming with me! — 4 years, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 5 people said helpful

Superb product! Keep coming back.
For years, this has been my "go-to" scrub. I have tried to switch, to see if I could find something cheaper, but alas, I always come back to this! And the price really isn't that bad, considering how long one tube actually lasts. I have tried both the 7 Day Scrub and this one. In fact, I started using the 7 Day originally, but it wasn't strong enough for my oily, breakout-prone skin. The 7 Day is more of a "polisher" and is best for sensitive or dryer skin. I have tried many scrubs, including Soap & Glory, Clean & Clear, and St. Ives. This product surpasses them by far. And the best thing? If you don't like it, they will give you your money back, no questions asked. Guaranteed! Just love Clinique. — 1 year, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 8 people said helpful

#1 exfoliant
So, I have to admit, I love exfoliating, and I am kinda guilty of over-doing it. But I can't get over the feeling of super smooth skin the morning after (cuz i always exfoliate in the pm) and how smoothly my makeup glides on, and how even and glowy my skin looks. I have to say, that this is a staple for me in getting that celebrity modelesque, smooth glasslike skin. My skin type is combo, and my skin isn't too sensitive, so I do use this every other day, and I have to admit, I'm not too gentle. Which I will change, because I heard that's really bad for your skin and it'll show up when you're older and blah blah. If you have really dry skin, then for sure this isn't for you, and clinique reps, and even the website says that. But if you have oily, or even moderately oily skin, then you will benefit by this product for sure. I have acne prone skin too, and this scrub actually keeps them away. This is a staple in the summertime, otherwise my face would look .... not pretty. But when is acne ever pretty. I use a pretty generous amount, maybe the size of a quarter, and then I smooth it over my face, and I rub it in circular motions for a minute or two, and then I just let it sit there for another minute or two, and then I wash it off, tone, moisturize pretty heavily, and done. =) It is kind of expensive, it costs me like...28 bucks or something? But, I have tried others, and I just...they just didn't do it for me. Biore, St Ives, etc etc. I didn't really like them, they didn't seem to help with breakouts, and my skin didn't feel as smooth afterwards. SO...I think that's all I can say about it. Oily girls for sure give it a shot, you won't be disappointed. Combo girls too. Dry skinned girls....this may hurt you a bit, and aggravate your skin. The 7 day scrub might be better for you. I hope that helps someone. — 3 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful
