  Finally! A Matte Lipstick That Doesn't Feel Dry

  I love the way matte lips look, but so often they apply less smoothly than other finishes because they're of a drier consistency AND can feel dry and uncomfortable on. But not with these! These pencils really do feel like Velvet. The glide on so smoothly and feel soft on your lips. They're of a creamier consistency than... most matte items I've tried, but it doesn't show much. The more forgiving texture doesn't compromise the matte finish. Or the wear. Matte lipsticks typically stay on longer than other types of lipstick and this one is no different. My only real complaint is that the color selection for these is rather limited! I'd love it if they added more shades. December 12, 2007, 11:51 pm

  Turning out to be a staple in my purse...

  I am liking the pencil more and more, much to my surprise - I find it's the first one I reach for on a regular basis because it's easy to apply, the color goes on smoothly and it's comfortable to wear. It says it's a matte color, but it does have a lovely soft sheen to it. Goes on like a very moisturizing lip pencil, and st...ays put reasonably well. It is a bother to have to sharpen it - I kept forgetting to get it out of my purse when I was home, so that was a pain - but I found that any sharpener that can accomodate a chubby pencil will usually work on this one, too.   Handy tool for your purse

  I really liked this pencil. It is one of the few lipsticks that I actually use on a regular basis. It is convenient because you don't need a separate liner or need to use a lip brush. The color wears fairly well and fades off evenly. It is richly pigmented and moisturizing so that is a comfortable matte finish. December 11, 2007, 3:08 pm

  Beautiful color!

  I love this Lip Pencil. It is the perfect color, not too light and not too dark. I have been trying to find a lip color that I can wear now that I am a little more grown up and lipgloss is not always acceptable, but I was finding most lip colors were too dark or too bright and made me look like a clown or old. This give ...off just the perfect amount of color. I usually add a little clear gloss for shine when I need it. I just wish it lasted longer. November 18, 2009, 11:25 am

  great quick lip

  I have a handful of colors of these lip pencils and they are great for everything, from day to night. Cruella is a great, long lasting red lip. Lighter colors, such as Dolce Vita and Sex Machine make great quick cream blushes or highlighters. November 9, 2009, 11:41 am

  I Own It in 'Cruella'

  If you've ever wanted to try a red 'pin-up' girl lip, this is the product for you! My consultant at Sephora suggested gently lining the lips in the liner first, then filling in with the sides of the product. This gives you a beautiful red shade. The pencil can go bolder and deeper in color, but I like the advice the consult...ant gave me. Add a touch of clear gloss on top for an extra sexy look! ****I suggest toning down any eye makeup when using this product!**** Don't worry, ladies, you will turn heads! June 2, 2009, 3:00 pm

  Too stubby

  I got the nude pencil, and glad I held out on the red shade, because this pencil is way to thick to get a precise application around the mouth. I mean, I guess if you used it as a quasi lip color, it would make more sense, which might be what they are going for here, but don't purchase this for precision lip liner applicati...on.   Sex Machine Pencil

  the color is beautiful, its amazingly long-lasting all by itself, and not as drying as most pencils, and did I mention the color is gorgeous? and I managed to find a cheap sharpener that works. BUT it very small and very expensive, so I have not purchased more than 1. May 25, 2009, 11:41 pm

  Last forever

  This chubby pencil lasts forever. Delivers bold color, goes on smooth and surprisingly with good per scion despite the thickness. You can line and fill in your lips with this product, add a touch of gloss on top for a different look. It's very pricey and when sharpening I had some trouble finding a sharpenr that would give ...me a good tip. I had to buy 3 sharpers ( waste of money). The product last a very long long time I literally put it on once a day and just do a touch up with gloss to extended the color into the night. May 25, 2009, 11:41 am
