i only have one other gloss that 'tingles' more, and this ones close. i like that. its not a moisturiser or a glos tho, you gotta follow up with something else. the plumping seems temporary too, as is the tingle. good tho, too faced is one of my fave companies. — 4 years ago

Wayyy to drying.

I'm surprised not many people had dry lips after using this. I liked the thought of making my lips a little plumper, nothing too drastic. This stuff smells very fruity and has a tangy flavor to it if you accidentally lick it. Although it did make my lips red, irritated and look plumper. My lips dried out and took a couple days to get back to normal. The product is intended to draw out the red color from your lips to make them look fuller but in all actuality it's really causing harm to the skin cells on your lips. It did mine and I'm never using this again. — 4 years ago

A great plumper

I have yet to try the regular version of Fusion and CityLips, but other than those 2, I've tried them all. I have a fairly thin upper lip that drives me crazy in pictures. It practically disappears when I smile. I really like this plumper, but it does have a sting. I think the effects last long enough, but the problem occurs when you are having cocktails, then you will have to reapply after your cocktail. I like the texture but it is a bit slippery, so like the 1st reviewer noted, it's best applied to the center of the lip only and then carefully blend outwards. The cost is fair because it delivers on the promise of fuller lips. I only use plumpers when I'm going out or for a special occasion, otherwise I think your lips can get used to the product and they don't work as well. Of all the plumpers I've tried so far, this is the only one that gave me the instant gratification I was hoping for. It swells my lips substantially and provides a glossy sheen. If you want to apply a lip product over this, I recommend waiting about 10-15 minutes then wipe this off before you apply another product. Also, be careful not to get any of this outside your lip line and wash your hands if you get any on them. This stuff will burn! But I like the burn... hee hee! — 3 years, 5 months ago

Plumps and Moisturizes

This lip plumper is one of the most effective ones I have used. It not only plumps my lips, but it keeps it moisturized as well, which is awesome because my lips chap easily. It does sting a bit when you first use it, but not so bad that it's unbearable and you do get use to it after a few uses and then it just feels nice and tingly, well at least for me it does. This is also how you know it's working because it stimulates the blood flow in your lips, which makes it plump up and redden a bit. Also make sure that you get the product on your lips and not outside of your lip area because it will make the area of your skin that it touched a bit pink for a bit. The product has an iridescent sheen to it in the bottle, but it's not really noticeable when you apply it on your lips. It also has a nice sweet kind of minty smell to it. And I love how it's not sticky at all. And it claims that if you use the product for awhile you'll get permanent results, but I've used it for several months morning and night and have just stopped using it and haven't seen any permanent results. It just happens to work temporarily for me, just whenever I put it on. And one major reason why I stopped using it is not because I ran out, but because the wand is so short that there's a lot of product down in the bottom that I can't even get to with the wand. So now when I'm in need of the product, I have to use a q-tip to dig it out, which sucks, especially since it's a bit pricey as well. — 3 months, 1 week ago

This is one of those things that I wish I didn't like so I could save my money. It is expensive for the amount you get. I feel guilty buying it but it keeps my lips young...I use it twice a day..at night and in the morning as a 'treatment'. Sometimes I use it over lipstick as a gloss...lovely. — 1 year, 3 months ago

This is one of the best lip plumper on the market. Using the "extreme" version over time really does boost the production of collagen in your lips. It stings a little at first but nothing that's unbearable. This serum really stings, so it brings color and fullness to your lips. It says you need to use it morning and night to see permanent results, but I sometimes forget in the morning but I use it at night. It does moisturize well and I haven't had chapped lips since I've started using it. It's not as sticky and thick as the original lip serum, but it definitely stings more!
