I'm surprised not many people had dry lips after using this. I liked the thought of making my lips a little plumper, nothing too drastic. This stuff smells very fruity and has a tangy flavor to it if you accidentally lick it. Although it did make my lips red, irritated and look plumper. My lips dried out and took a couple days to get back to normal. The product is intended to draw out the red color from your lips to make them look fuller but in all actuality it's really causing harm to the skin cells on your lips. I have yet to try the regular version of Fusion and CityLips, but other than those 2, I've tried them all. I have a fairly thin upper lip that drives me crazy in pictures. It practically disappears when I smile. I really like this plumper, but it does have a sting. I think the effects last long enough, but the problem occurs when you are having cocktails, then you will have to reapply after your cocktail. I like the texture but it is a bit slippery, so like the 1st reviewer noted, it's best applied to the center of the lip only and then carefully blend outwards. The cost is fair because it delivers on the promise of fuller lips. I only use plumpers when I'm going out or for a special occasion, otherwise I think your lips can get used to the product and they don't work as well.
