Liquid liner on one end, a shadow-loaded smudge sponge on the other. Neat in concept, but the hard, teardrop tip is difficult to line with smoothly. Retrace your dry line with shadow for smokiness; however, the tip removed chunks of my "indelible," "budgeproof" line. (I filled in gaps with the liner.) If you can get through all that, the combo stays put; but why not save money by topping any liquid liner with eyeshadow from a sponge applicator?

      Easier then you think

      alot af people are afraid of liquid liner since the gel pens came out. but tarte has made made this almost error proof and the lasting coverage and staying power with out smuging off is far better then and gel pen March 1, 2008, 8:27 am

      i'd avoid this one

      I have tried literally every liquid liner under the sun, and this one is not so great. Its like liquid plastic, first off--so if you make a mistake you kind of have to peel the whole shebang off and try again, which is a giant pain. The shadow smudger top is a great concept but it just rubs off the liner. I managed to get ...a month of use out of it--it looks great if you have a very steady hand, a ton of time, and the opportunity to touch it up throughout the day. It doesnt respond too well to makeup remover (even waterproof). It also dries up very quickly and becomes clumpy almost immediately. June 18, 2009, 9:52 pm

      Great for oily lids and for performers!

      I am a musician and it's been a task and a half to find cosmetics that won't run, flake of, melt etc... under hot lights and being active on stage. This liner NEVER comes off...and my eyes look just as good after my show as they did before it started! No more raccoon eyes when I come off stage! LOL! May 27, 2009, 8:01 pm

      the worst!

      The liquid part goes on in a blotchy way, so you look sort of crazy. The powder part doesn't help, so you end up going over the line again with the liquid. I hated it. Good thing I got it as a bonus or I would be sending it back. May 9, 2009, 1:52 pm

      Long-lasting, and paraben free!

      I had given up hope of finding a paraben-free liquid eyeliner when I came upon this product. I have been very impressed at the staying power, as I have always had a difficult time with running eyeliner. The shadow is an added bonus and really seems to enhance the color of the liner.
