Tarte Indelible Wink Reviews

Pricey, but good if you are going for a natural product.
TwoBirds (284 reviews)Tarte is pretty good about having ingredients that aren't worrisome but this is not their best product. The liquid liner does stay put and I have no problem applying; the secret is short strokes. Firstly, I always use a primer so results may be different without it. Secondly, I'm pretty confident in liquid liners and will admit that even though I get good lines with this applicatior it may be a bit difficult for a first time user of liquid liner. I would not say this is my favorite liquid liner but if you are looking for a paraben-free liner without synthetic dyes this is a good choice. For me the thing that really brings this set down is the matching shadow. You must wait for the liquid to set or else you will end up with a big mess. The application is a bit rough and I end up having to blend with a sponge or eyeshadow brush. Would be good for a smoky eye but I usually end up using a lighter color eyeshadow and using the duo as a way to emphasize parts of my eye, blending with the lighter color. Works out really nice. Overall, because of the price, I would only really recommend this to people who are worried about parabens or are looking for products with natural ingredients. — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Not my favorite
smiley48 (187 reviews)I typically love Tarte product but this is really not a must have in my opinion. The liquid liner is difficult to use, and ends up looking messy. I do like the shadow part though, and sometimes use that alone. — 1 year agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Goes on smoothly, washes off very easily
epetrovi (9 reviews)This is a great all-natural product, although not so fool-proof. One definitely needs a steady hand to apply! It lasts very long on your eyes, and does not come off with sweat/moisture. — 1 year, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

i'd avoid this one
SeraphinaB (9 reviews)I have tried literally every liquid liner under the sun, and this one is not so great. Its like liquid plastic, first off--so if you make a mistake you kind of have to peel the whole shebang off and try again, which is a giant pain. The shadow smudger top is a great concept but it just rubs off the liner. I managed to get a month of use out of it--it looks great if you have a very steady hand, a ton of time, and the opportunity to touch it up throughout the day. It doesnt respond too well to makeup remover (even waterproof). It also dries up very quickly and becomes clumpy almost immediately. — 2 years, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Great for oily lids and for performers!
Janeevil (12 reviews)I am a musician and it's been a task and a half to find cosmetics that won't run, flake of, melt etc... under hot lights and being active on stage. This liner NEVER comes off...and my eyes look just as good after my show as they did before it started! No more raccoon eyes when I come off stage! LOL! — 2 years, 12 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

the worst!
RFMezzy (9 reviews)The liquid part goes on in a blotchy way, so you look sort of crazy. The powder part doesn't help, so you end up going over the line again with the liquid. I hated it. Good thing I got it as a bonus or I would be sending it back. — 3 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Long-lasting, and paraben free!
LAJ125 (7 reviews)I had given up hope of finding a paraben-free liquid eyeliner when I came upon this product. I have been very impressed at the staying power, as I have always had a difficult time with running eyeliner. The shadow is an added bonus and really seems to enhance the color of the liner. — 3 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
