The fat, thick brush of this mascara is like a promise of what's to come when you apply it. One coat and you've got full, thick and extremely dark lashes. While it's not quite like "wearing a set of false eyelashes," it's about as close as you can get when using mascara alone. Be aware that the formula has been known to flake and smudge by the end of the day, but I'll take that for lashes this full.

    If you hate put on fake eyelashes....

    This is one of my absolute favourite mascaras...the big brush head with plenty of bristles coat the eyelashes beautifully.. with a sweeping up and down motion I start underneath the lashes and then apply on top...5 coats back and forth and the result is dramatic...well worth shelling out $19.00 June 4, 2008, 7:26 am

    So Bad Yet Oh So Good!

    As a cosmetic junkie, I have swept many a mascara wand through my lashes and this product out performs any and all others I've tried. It makes your lases look ultra lush, doesn't clump and won't smear or flake off as you take on the day.     The brush is overly large in my opinion, but this does create thick, long lashes. You can look like you are wearing false eyelashes, which is not always a good thing. Use carefully, but great for a lot of impact. May 15, 2008, 9:42 pm

    Totally worth it!

    Some people are intimidated by the size of the brush, it's HUGE. But, really, it makes for fast, easy and clump-free application. You won't get it all over your eyelids either! It lasts a long time too, so don't be scared by the 18 dollar price tag...(I know, I know, you should get rid of your mascara every month!!) If ...you like Maybelline's Great Lash in the blackest black, you'll like this. It doesn't flake up by the end of the day and leave you with big black spots under your eyes either. I've been using this stuff for quite awhile and people keep asking me where I get a mascara that's so dark, yet natural looking. I can't wait to try to the Badgal Blue!!! December 20, 2007, 5:44 pm

    Love it!

    I love everything about this mascara! The gigantic brush is wonderful - it does everything. The color is a rich black and looks really good. It maks the lashes nice and long, not goopy and clumpy. I have never had a problem with clumps with this mascara. It goes on so easy. I put 2-3 coats on and my lashes are WOW. I... get a lot of compliments on it and people are always asking me what mascara I have on. BADgal by Benefit!!! February 15, 2008, 5:50 am

    If I pay $20 bucks for a tube of mascara, it had better knock my socks off, well at least as much as Lancome Definicils. No such luck with this one, ladies. This is a good mascara, it makes your lashes thick and full and look good, but not $20 good. Maybelline Full n' Soft mascara and the new Neutrogena Healthy Volume masca...ra do the same job (the Neutrogena product really gives it a run for its money)for a reasonable $7 price tag.     When my best friend was using this product, I desperately wanted to try it. A year later, I was at Sephora and had some money to spend so i opted for the smaller version. I was extremely disappointed when I used it for a week straight without good results. Don't get me wrong, I am quite excellent at applying mascara. It is ...my favorite beauty product but, I was unsatisfied with this one after all the attention it got. January 31, 2008, 2:51 pm

    This is probably one of the most expensive eye cosmetic products I have ever bought and it is terrible. It does give a lot of volume but the brush gets clumpy, the mascara takes a long time to dry and by the end of the day, I have raccoon eyes that would rival any intense crying session! I have used it only a few times whic...h is a shame because I paid a lot of money for it. Save your money and invest in some L’oreal Lash Out mascara for $6 instead! January 16, 2008, 11:54 am

    Heavy Duty Mascara

    I love the rich black color and the fun package. The first time I used this product, however, I found the monsterous size of the brush and tube to be intimidating. It definitly adds volume and two coats will make your eyes pop! June 3, 2008, 9:20 am

    Not bad when I apply it carefully, but has a tendency to go on thick and clump. I got it in a packaged set of Benefit products and I like it fairly well. People who like a dark, dramatic look will probably love it. May 24, 2008, 5:33 pm
