Wen Sweet Almond Mint Cleansing Conditioner Reviews

Junk product
Silly informercial product. This is a junk product and a waste of money. Left a waxy buildup on my hair that took a very long time to rinse out. Would not use this again. — 1 year, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 9 people said helpful

I Love Wen!
I having been using only Wen cleansing conditioners for over 2 years now. I have long, thick, wavy hair and this keeps my hair cleaner, longer. My hair has never been healthier (hair stylists always comment) and I will never go back to regular shampoo. Yes, Wen takes a little longer to work into your hair...Yes, Wen can be a little expensive...But, if you want a sulfate free hair cleanser with good for you ingredients, it is money and time well spent. Make sure you use enough product on soaking wet hair and comb it through. I leave the Sweet Almond Mint cleansing conditioner on while I shave my legs, and then rinse and a quick repeat. My hair stays clean up to a week with no static, oily roots, or loss of manageability. I always recommend this to family and friends. The Wen cleansing conditioners are fabulous for your dogs coat as well! — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 15 of 16 people said helpful

Nice smell, still miss my other shampoo
Although this does smell better than the fig, I feel as if my hair is still dirty. I use the recommended amount to cleanse my hair but still feel as if it isn't clean. I have since stopped using the cleansing conditioner and gone back to using regular suds-ing shampoo. The other thing that gives this the low mark is the price. It becomes a money consuming product when you have to keep ordering it, and paying for S & H. The amount that is suggested will leave your pockets empty and you wanting more, and not in a good way! — 2 years, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Disgusting
First day I used it it was like ok, this could work. A few days later my hair was stringy and weighed down. Greasy and just plain gross feeling. You have to use WAY too much product per use and it still doesn't work. It's overpriced crap in a bottle. I don't understand why people keep buying it. Used as a leave in it does add some volume, but you don't get away from that slightly greasy gross feeling that it leaves in your hair. I find it to be more damaging than helpful. I don't recommend this to anyone. Especially don't go through their website for the monthly deliveries. The company that controls the service is the worst and you may not get your money back after they keep stealing it from you. — 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 6 people said helpful

Tried This Once.
Was excited that my friend let me use it on a weekend trip we took, because I'd seen the infomercials and was curious. To be fair and honest, my hair is not problematic - it's in a virgin state, long and fairly straight and it does frizz in humidity. I'm not sure what I was expecting ~ some miracle that would make my hair look unbelievably perfect, I guess ~ but nothing happened. Nothing. The infomercial promised I'd be able to see a difference with the very first use. Nope! Maybe only for people with really dry, damaged hair?My friend said this stuff was expensive, but that it worked for her colored, heat-styled hair. I'll stick with my Suave Humectant S & C because it works for me. I'm so not into getting sucked into a payment plan and having to empty bottles and bottles for any results. I just ignore the infomercials now that I did get to try it. — 10 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Garbage
This stuff is a total waste of money. All it does is coat the hair to weight it down so it looks flat. There are zero cleaning agents in it so there is no possible way it's cleaning anything. I'm convinced they put the mint in it to make the consumer think it's cleaning because of the tingle. I cancelled my future shipments which was quite easy to do. But when I did, the customer service rep said she gets a lot of calls from unhappy customers. Don't waste your money. — 1 year, 12 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 5 people said helpful

Wasn't impressed
I so wanted to like this product, but I just did not like the way it made my hair look. After I washed my hair with it I thought my hair looked worse. It looked sort of oil and there was no volume to it at all. I know it's better for my hair because it doesn't have sulfates or other harsh chemicals, but it made my hair look terrible. — 2 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 3 people said helpful

Not Worth It
i did not like this product. I believed the hype but it left my hair really oily without any volume. I use it now as shaving cream just so I don't feel like I totally wasted my money — 1 month, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
