Not for dry flakey skin
Any time I finish with a breakout, my skin is quite dry and flakey. What makes it worse is that I live in dry Arizona. You have to blend this in really well, but unlike most powders I've tried, this tends to exaggerate dryness more than others. When my skin is normal, this is actually a great power to use for touchups throughout the day. A good powder
I decided to buy this because it seemed to be a great setting powder to top your liquid foundation with but with that said i didn't like the way it looked with my initial application of studio fix fluid, just a little too cakey and powdery for my tastes especially since i used my 187 to put it on. Another A+ from MAC
I use this alone a lot without foundation. I have moderately oily skin with more uneven color and occasional splotchiness than serious imperfections. It covers lightly and blends all of that without the heaviness of foundation. The colors are beautiful too, I use the NC40. A suggestion is to ditch the little sponge that comes with the compact and use a fluffy brush instead.
