  MSFs...

  When it comes to MAC Mineralized Skinfinishes it has been hit or miss for me. Well, mostly miss. I am an NC42 and have every one of them from the Lingerie collection until the N collection. The only one that I like is Petticoat because it is a pretty pink that actually shows up on me. Most of the MSFs that got released dur...ing that time were either all bronze/brown colored which got boring or light pink, which doesn't show up on my skin. To be fair they did release a yellow looking one that worked as a highlighter, but other than that, its brown or light, light pink. I think maybe the older ones were better, like Stereo Rose or Pleasureflush, but I have yet to try them. Most of the ones I have are full of chunky glitter and make my oily skin look even more oily with the shine that they give. The worse part is, all that shows up is the chunky glitter and shine, not any of the color. I would not recommend these, even though I am a MAC fan. February 19, 2008, 3:21 pm

  A Touch of Glam

  In a world with a Ka-Jillion powders that are pretty much all alike, this product is a refreshing change. I apply it over my foundation with a big fluffy brush and for such little effort I am rewarded with luminous glowing highlights with just a hint of various color pigments. This isn't an evening only glittery sparkle pow...der but an anytime you want just an extra touch of glam with a slight hint of shimmer. When I want a lighter make-up look I use it as blush but most days I just brush it all over. I can't say enough good things about this powder. March 13, 2008, 10:04 pm

  MAC Mineralize Skinfinish

  I got this in Las Vegas from the Alexander McQueen collection. It is amazing...perfect for an evening out or a performance. I dance, and this will become a staple in my makeup case. It's quite versatile, and such a pretty shimmer! Just make sure to tap off the brush before you apply or you could end up a huge spot of shimme...r instead of an evenly applied glow :) December 11, 2007, 7:24 am

  I love MSFs

  You can use them as a highlighter, blush, or bronzer. That's what's so great about them- they are very versatile. The only problem I have is that they are all limited edition, and once it's done you can't get it anywhere else but ebay (for double the price). I wish they wouldn't make them Limited Edition.   I LOVE it!!!

  I have been using this product for a little while now. It is awesome. I love it because it has the same effect a loose mineral powder has without the messiness. It is great for oily skins like myself, but good for all types. The multi-color texture allows us to wear it without having to focus so much on "is it my perfe...ct color?". It has a matte finish and evens out facial multi-tones and blemishes. March 3, 2008, 9:13 pm

  Oh so shimmery!

  Before the N Collection came out, I had never tried an MSF before, but I've heard others rave about it. I got both from this recent collection, and they're very shimmery! The color pay off isn't much for my skin, but I love the shimmer. It's great as a highlight or to make a blush color really pop! Since they're expensive t...o make, MAC doesn't come out with them very often, and they always sell out (so they must be popular, right?!). February 22, 2008, 2:36 pm

  Many MSFs

  Over the years MAC has put out several MSFs. Ive had alot of them: Stereo Rose, Porcelain Pink, Petticoat, So Ceylon, Pleasureflush (the TDS dupe), Gold Deposit, Shooting Star, Northern Lights, Glissade, Lightscapade and Shimpagne. Out of all those, my favs that I use frequently are Stereo Rose and the Pleasureflush dupe. M...ost of the others either dont show up much or are way too glittery.   I have been a big fan of MAC's mineralized products for a long time. Leaves your skin beautiful. The colors are really versatile with all skin tones, and it's just a hint of shimmer and really a perfect finishing touch to your face. A little bit goes a long way, so it will last you for a long time. I am still using "Sh...ooting Star", a limited edition from 2 years ago, and it's less than halfway through. Highly recommended.   I "collect" almost every mineralize skinfinish that come out. Some are hit and miss, some are gorgeous!!!! My favorite is Shimpagne, which I am on my second one right now (by the way, each one lasts forever). You can use MSFs as a highlighter, blush, or bronzer.   This is a pretty good powder that gives my skin a smooth, silky appearance. Personally, i think it's a little heavy, so be sure to use a light hand and blend well. Overall though, it makes my skin look great, lasts a long time, and for it's price, it's a good powder. April 21, 2008, 12:12 pm
