A Mighty Misunderstood Powerhouse!
After reading some of the negative reviews of Ole Henriksen's "Invigorating Night Gel,™" I feel that this powerhouse of a product is sadly misunderstood by some people. Read the label carefully: This is probably one of the most POTENT, concentrated products available to stimulate cell turnover and expose a younger and firmer-looking complexion. A multi-ingredient AHA complex (including Glycolic, Lactic, Sugar Cane, Sugar Maple, Orange, Lemon, and Licorice Extracts!) go to work to diminish lines and wrinkles, shrink pores, perfect skin's texture, and even inhibit the advent of blemishes. Other ingredients bind moisture to the skin while nourishing it. It is a non-oily gel to be spread evenly over your face, preferably after using Henriksen's superb "Truth Serum™ Collagen Builder" and before the wonderful, comforting soufflé-like "Sheer Transformation™ Moisturizing Crème." You may experience a slight tingling sensation which disappears quickly. After only a week I noticed a far more refined, clarified look to my complexion. This will not be nearly as effective when used alone. It is made to be part of a natural skin care regimen which brightens, tightens, firms, evens skin's tone, and leaves you looking much younger and radiant. I actually scoffed when I purchased several products from Ole Henriksen, but my skin hasn't looked this good since I was in my early twenties! Ole Night Cream
My night-time ritual includes cleansing my face and using Olay Regenerist night cream. I have added to that ritual lately becauseI got a small trio of Ole products as a reward from Sephora. It'll probably last a month though, because I use such a little amount. I remove the lid of this greenish gel (that looks like aloe vera gel) and dip the tip of my finger into it, smoothing that teeny amount over my whole face. It is light, essentially fragrance-free, and leaves my skin looking smoother and younger but I probably won't buy it because it costs a pretty penny and can't be found at the drug store. What was this supposed to do again?
Week 1, no results. Week 2, still nothing. Week 3. I saw something and it's a frown on my face from seeing that this was't a very effective product. I don't know how anyone feels about slathering strawberry glaze across their face feels but it sure matches up to it. There are no effects and it doesn't absorb and has a bit of a greasy feel. Great night exfoliant
This is one of the best night exfoliants that I have come across. It is drying and potentially irritating on its own, but when used in conjunction with a serum or night creme, it does wonders on clearing up breakouts, fading acne spots, and improving texture. I love the way this makes my skin feel! I am working on getting every product in this whole line because my skin is amazing after using these products. It brightens and firms. I do not dip my finger in i use a spatula because i am afraid of introducing bacteria into the jar. Love this product
I have been using ole henriksen night gel for six months now and love it. Not only does it make your breakouts disappear over night but it also makes the skin feel super smooth the next day with no lines. When you first apply the gel it does feel sticky but you have to let it dry before going to bed which takes only a few min. It feels and looks like it tightens your skin. It doesn't make your face oily nor does it dry out your skin. It's simply perfect - I never knew that a product can make such wonders over night so that you wake up with super baby smooth, acne free and wrinkle free skin. LOVE this!
This product has seriously transformed my skin. I had very bad adult acne and my skin was calmed overnight. Of course, it took months for my skin to completely turn around, but I seriously noticed a difference overnight. Smoother, less irritation, and less break outs. I was surprised ...
I was surprised to find this on the "14 Products That Won't Keep Your Skin Young" list. I bought this because I am prone to milia and it is very hard to find a clear facial gel. This made my face feel less oily and did tighten my skin some. Best part is that you only have to use a little of it and it lasts a really long time. Horrific
