    The perfect skin saver

    by lightluv17 (1 review)
Two years ago, I began my training as an Esthetician, or in simple terms, a skin care specialist. In the school, we used the Dermalogica Skin Care line. Now, I am not saying this because I was trained, but I am saying this because I have sensitive skin that I have always had trouble finding products that don't irritate my s...kin when I used them. This product is by far a MUST HAVE. Everyone has a natural barrier on their skin that protects it from pollutants and irritants. When that barrier is weakened or compromised, thats when our skin gets irritated, or there is a burning sensation when you apply a product. The Dermalogica Barrier repair fixes your natural barrier without clogging skin. I know because i make my brother who had grade 3 acne use it and his skin is doing SO much better. Love it, Love it, Love it! And since this is a professional grade product, you hardly have to use any... basically, a little goes a long way. Definitely worth the price for healthy skin. This is such a powerful moisturizer, without leaving your skin greasy. Your skin feels so smooth. It is intended for sensitive skin but most skin types could use this. I use it everyday! November 13, 2007, 11:07 am

    Never leave home without it

    by flycasual (20 reviews)
Non-greasy moisturizer, intense enough for my super dry, flaky skin. I keep this in my purse for touching up dry spots during the day. It's a lifesaver. November 28, 2008, 8:08 pm

    Great moisture

    by silver519 (21 reviews)
It feels slightly greasy when applying, but then soaks into skin and leaves feeling soft, was great value for the money. July 8, 2008, 9:27 am

Works great without feeling greasy! :)

    by beagle6 (1 review)
I really love the Dermalogica line. Barrier repair moisturizes my skin without leaving it too oily and greasy. It does cost more but it is worth it. I have super sensitive skin and this is the only line that doesn't make it break out or get more irritated. June 9, 2008, 1:10 pm

    Barely there

    by kevenstad (3 reviews)
I found this product pretty good at first, but after using it for a few weeks didn't think it was helping my skin much. I have some rosacea and it's supposed to help, although I didn't see any results. It does go on your skin very easily and made my skin feel soft though. December 5, 2007, 8:51 am

    Silky Smooth

    by AL_esthetician (4 reviews)
This product glides onto the skin and leaves a great finish and feel on your face. It's a great moisturizer, but also, if you can go without much make-up, your skin feels great with this as the "top coat". November 17, 2007, 11:55 am

    Changed my life

    by sarah711 (17 reviews)
It sounds dramatic, but Dermalogica has changed my life. For years I thought the redness on my face was just a fact of life and there was nothing I could do about it. So I carried on using my Clinique 3 step which I was convinced was the right thing for my skin until a beautician friend introduced me to the range from Derma...logica for sensitive skin. 2 months on, I am so much more confident in my skin. While the redness is still there (I doubted it would go so quickly, anyway) it is no where near as bad as it used to be, and for the first time in years I feel confident enough to go out of the house without make up on. Barrier repair has softened and smoothed my skin, despite me thinking it wouldn't be moisturising enough when I first tried it, I now find my skin is less thirsty then it was before. Expensive, but for the confidence it has given me back I think it's worth it. September 22, 2009, 1:13 am

    For Everyone

This is water-free, and so I thought that meant it wouldn't moisturize as well as what my skin usually needs. I was wrong! This is silky and light and smooth, but still protects my skin from getting red or irritated or itchy. I use it as my moisturizer, which is unbelievable to me. It's a little expensive, but it does a gre...at job of taking care of my skin and a little goes a long way. So very worth it! July 4, 2009, 6:32 am

    Feeling is Believing

    by Kristikat (1 review)
This is my favorite skin care product and, as an esthetician, I've used numerous products. It's a light weight product that protects your skin while leaving it feeling velvity smooth. Feeling is Believing. I can't imagine living without my Barrier Repair and I doubt most people could once they have tried it. Even my littl...e 7 year old niece is addicted and could tell you many of the benefits. She says it helps with itches and bug bites in addition to feeling great on your face. Warning: Barrier Repair is addictive :) Enjoy! October 7, 2008, 7:41 pm
