    Oily girls, don't fear this!

    I was a bit hesitant to try this as I have quite oily skin and the thought of adding oils to it is frightening to me. I was surprised to feel how deep clean yet not stripped my skin felt after using this. I still felt a residue after rinsing the PreCleanse but my normal cleanser took care of that. The price seems a bit high but I think this 5.1 oz. bottle will last a good 6 months as you just need a dime sized amount. (I bought this from www.dermstore.com- it got to me in 2 days with free shipping! Yay!). It's great at removing heavy makeup like ColorStay. It has a natural lavendarish herbal scent that I normally wouldn't like but find very soothing in this product. I will repurchase this product. November 26, 2007, 3:35 pm

    Effective...

    I like this product! It dissolves makeup and leaves your skin ready for cleanser to really get into your pores. I've had no problems with breakouts because of this, and a bottle lasts a long time. I use it every night and I'm still on the same bottle I bought last summer. March 31, 2008, 8:20 am

    a must

    this is a must have product. It get rid of all the oil, and make-up so that when you wash your face with your cleanser you are cleaning your skin. All skin types can use precleanse and it smells so good. The retail bottle lasts for months. March 23, 2008, 6:58 pm

    Promises more than it offers

    I am a huge Dermologica devotee, but this product definitly fell short in my book. It is designed for oily/acne prone skin, like my own. But the oilyness of it was too much for my oil-phobia.     Great Product

    Really feels good on your face and does a great job of getting all my make up off. I can't tell you how often I used to wash my face and then the cotton ball w/ toner I ised after would pull off so much more make up. Yuck!     precleanse is a great idea

    This is such a cool product. It removes makeup, eye mascara, etc. It feels oily but once you massage it into your skin, it removes all makeup etc and then your skin is ready to be cleansed. December 6, 2007, 9:41 am

    Removes makeup and residue quickly and easily. My face feels smooth and clean. Makes a big difference on how smoothly my foundation feels when I use this product. The oily feel of the product is deceiving -- it washes off completely and easily. November 12, 2007, 2:10 pm

    Amazing!

    I simply adore this precleanse. I had actually never used a precleanser before this one but I love it! It's great for all skin types. It cleanses my skin without drying it out. It doesn't strip your skin of essential oils it's actually contains oils in it! It leaves my skin balanced, cleansed and hydrated. November 3, 2008, 10:36 am

    I love Dermalogica. I have acne and this line has been the only one to really help. The pre-cleanse however, I find rather useless and don't see a difference between when I use it before cleansing and when I don't' , but then, I don't' use a lot of make-up or have really oily skin like many other reviews seem to do.       • Directions

      • Using dry hands, massage over dry face and eyes to dissolve surface oil and dirt. Concentrate on areas of congestion or stubborn debris. Wet hands and continue massaging to create a light, milky emulsion. Rinse with lukewarm water. Follow with recommended Dermalogica Cleanser for professional cleasing results.
