Essential cleansing step
I purchased the Dermalogica precleanse after discovering that my beloved Shu Uemura cleansing oil contained a potentially pore-clogging ingredient. The price per ounce of this is about the same as Shu Uemura, but in my opinion this is better because it doesn't contain ingredients that rate high on the comedogenic scale. The packaging of this is better as well because it doesn't have any leaking like the other does. Since this stuff is expensive, we can't afford for any of the product to go to waste! This has a light scent that I don't particularly like, but isn't offensive either. This is very effective at getting all of my makeup off and leaves my skin feeling quite soft. I follow this with a second cleanse using my Clarisonic and a creamy cleanser on most days. This won't irritate your eyes either. a lot like DHC deep cleansing oil
Pre Cleanse is a must have for any skin type. Dry, oily, acne, aging. You apply it to dry skin, and it melts away makeup,oil, debris and dead skin cells. Then you wet your hands and massage the water over the pre cleanse. You can then see it emulsify. Pre cleanse melts away the debris to allow your 2nd cleanser to really get into the pores and clean them out. After you rinse pre cleanse, follow with your 2nd cleanser. My face feels soft, smooth and really clean after pre cleanse. Clean, but...
I guess this would have had more impact if I wore heavy make-up, but I don't. It DID cleanse my oily T-Zone well, and would probably work great if You were outside alot and wore heavy sun-screen. You need this product!
This is sooo great for oily skin and makeup wearers as it binds with the surface oils and debris, and when you add water, it completely lifts it off the skin. Can be used over eyes and lips. Smells wonderful. When using this to remove waterproof foundation it will make a slight doughy consistency. Dont worry, it will completely rinse off with your regular cleanser. Clean but not dry
Oil on your skin? This used to be a beauty no no, but Dermalogica have doine it again - a wonderful product. In the winter I suffer with dry and sensitive skin - this product cleans without stripping, my face felt soft afterwards. Good Stuff
So, I kept hearing good things about this product, and even though the last thing I needed was an extra step in my skincare regimen I decided to try it out. Lucky me! I was able to score a professional size bottle of this for about $30 online. Also, as it turns out, this product does make my skin feel cleaner. Minty cleansers feel mintier and my makeup just melts away with no problem. The best thing is that it doesn't cause breakouts. smells great but..

Amazing!
I simply adore this precleanse. I had actually never used a precleanser before this one but I love it! It's great for all skin types. It cleanses my skin without drying it out. It doesn't strip your skin of essential oils it's actually contains oils in it!
