I normally use Kiehl's Creme de Corps but I ran out of it once on vacation and was in an area that didn't sell Kiehl's. I purchased this instead and was quite amazed. It IS very thick and emollient. The smell is like sweet almond oil with a hint of the beach. Great for nighttime applications or for use on the feet after a day of walking or at the beach. It is wonderful mosturizer. With Shea Butter, I use it to shave. On my feet at night. On my face if dry, or peeling. Very thick, you don't have to use much.
