Suave Naturals Shampoo Reviews

Drying!!!
powerwoman033 (509 reviews)I purchased the Suave Naturals Shampoo and Conditioners for my family to try. The price certainly made these appealing! Unfortunately, this shampoo dried out all of our hair (medium to thick with oily scalps) and left it stripped and unmanageable. We followed with the conditioners, and they didn't make our hair soft or manageable. These are cheap for a reason! I would buy this to keep out at my trailer at the river because it's so cheap, but that is it! — 2 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

its alright
kenya (498 reviews)i like that the scent of these shampooos lingers and is quite strong, but strongly dislike the product. after washing, my hair was rough. it felt dried out. i do not recommend. spend another dollar more and you'll get a better quality with another brand. — 1 year, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

oldy
Bon_Bon (454 reviews)I use to have to use this when I was growing up, yeah it's cheap but really does smell pretty good and does the job. Using it by itself isn't advisable, but if you pair it with conditioner it works just fine and for only a buck or two it's pretty great. — 1 year, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Very clarifying
TheLacqueredLady (588 reviews)So this will leave your hair very clean - it is more akin to a clarifying shampoo. It will also leave your hair dry, but that was to be expected for a $1 shampoo. Though it left my hair a bit dry, a nice conditioner compensated. Not something to use everyday but good for clarifying. — 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Works well in a pinch!
darkangel81 (289 reviews)When I don't have much money to spend on shampoo and conditioner, I normally buy this in the coconut scent. It works well for me. — 3 years, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Not the best but not horrible
pure.life (323 reviews)If you want to pay $1.50 for shampoo then this is for you. There are many scents to choose from as well. I prefer natural products and this is far from that. It's not horrible but I would not use its my mainstay hair care. — 1 year, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Nourish Your Hair, STRAY FROM THIS!
Starluxe (298 reviews)While the price tempts the smart consumer into purchasing this item, they should also be very cautious about what it does to hair. After washing my synthetic and natural makeup brushes with this, it had lead me to the verdict that this is absolutely drying and causing hair over time to be brittle. I left the product on the palm of my hand for about thirty seconds and when I rinsed it off, my palm was dried out and in need of natural moisture so I began pondering about the effects on human hair. It's known to strip color because my lovely rich brown hair turns dull after a couple uses and leaves my strands frizzy and parched. While I'm unhappy the price tag isn't on better products, I'm satisfied with the results of my testing to leave this product on the shelf. 'Better safe than sorry later. — 4 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 8 of 10 people said helpful

Only use it if I have to
GeekyChic (217 reviews)This shampoo, to me, is really horrible. My hair feels so rough and dried out after I use this product. The conditioner isn't much better. The only good thing about this is the smell. — 11 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

Drying, but good w/matching conditioner
darkcocoa (69 reviews)This shampoo is very drying when used alone. I have found that it is best to use it with the matching conditoner. But overall the duo is a god cheap buy. — 1 year, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Love it
jackie (21 reviews)I bought this scared. I couldn't buy my normal stuff so I got both the coconut shampoo and conditioner due to no money. I was shocked. It didn't fry my wavy, frizzy, brown thick hair. It gets it squeaky clean and I always leave conditioner in for at least 5 minutes regardless of what kind. My wide tooth comb went right thru with no problems. My hair is soft, I have been watching for split ends, since I cut 22 inches off about 2 years ago (been using this product for about 8 months now) and still no split ends! (Last trim was over a year ago!) I'm happy with it. — 1 week, 2 days agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
