Great bargain

One of the biggest problems with liquid liner is that if one little bristle of the brush is unkempt and goes astray, which is inevitable after use, your line turns into garbage (like a line and another thin line next to it or just smudges ugh). This ingenious method of using a foam brush gives that same "perfect" look without making sure every bristle is in place (not that there are any to worry about). It's a bargain, lasts all day (a rare thing for eye liner since I have oily lids, liquid just does better), and is user-friendly. Sadly, it runs out extremely quickly and while it runs low it's color gets much weaker.4 of 4 people found this review helpful.

March 8, 2008, 11:51 pm I have always had problems applying eyeliner of any kind. I have tried the pencils, crayons, with smudger tips to help blend it in. I have tried the liquid that you get wet yourself and apply with your own brush... Everything.I couldn't apply a straight line to save my life and then the liquid would dry quickly and I would have to wash it off and start over. If I did get close to a straight line, the pencil would pull at my eye lid or it would overly smudge and end up running or floating around in my eye later on. I finally gave up on ever being able to pull off a beautiful lined eye. I saw a commercial for the CG Line Exact and decided to give liner one more try. I purchased it in Black and went home and gave it a whirl and suprise!! I can draw a straight line with this, it's easy to use, easy to clean up quickly if you make a slight mistake but sets and stays until you wash it off! Great Price and it lasts a long time. Someone mentioned earlier in a review that the black wasn't dark enough. It's plenty black, you just need to shake it up. I am never without this product!3 of 3 people found this review helpful.

December 30, 2007, 10:02 pm How can you not love this stuff?I don't typically buy any drugstore brands but I have been wearing liquid liner since 7TH GRADE so as you might imagine we are pretty close. This is my dream liner. I would take this over the Chanel or Lancome versions I've tries any day. Short and stubby so it gives you the most control, dark inky black that draws a clean even line with the felt tip. Mine lasts all day and I even wear it on the inner lids. I only keep eye makeup 3-4 months-any longer and it's full of bacteria-gross but true. This little liner is so inexpensive that I buy 4-5 a year and never give it a second thought. Try buying $30 Chanel 4-5 times a year-ouch.....3 of 3 people found this review helpful.

Makes eyelining a cinch!
by Kahlema (3 reviews)I like how easy it is to apply a straight line with this CoverGril LineExact Liquid Liner. You don't have to have a surgeon's hand with this. It does a good job to make a thick or think line. While I do like it's compact, tiny size, at the same time it is it's downfaull. I would like to see CoverGirl improve it or redesign ... I would like to see CoverGirl improve it or redesign the liner container so it could hold more because I went through it very fast.2 of 2 people found this review helpful.

This eyeliner is fool proof and I'm constantly amazed by its accuracy. I don't seem to have much of a problem with it wearing off at all, but if you do happen to smudge it with your fingers or hand during the course of your day/evening you'll definitely have to reapply.2 of 2 people found this review helpful.

Won't Stay On!
by good2st (7 reviews)I'd heard this liner stays on for a long time, but when I tried it, it wore off after a few hours. Lines exact, but runs a little short
by mlskelto (3 reviews)For the price, this liner is a find and not-to-mention small enough to tuck into the tiniest of makeup bags. easy peasy!
by bethanie (12 reviews)I am awful with liquid liners- they always end up all over the place and the look is always messy. However, after I bought this stuff it's all I use. It is easy to draw and it goes on dark and fine, the way I like. I like the brown shade best- I have the gray but it doesn't look so hot. May 26, 2008, 2:36 pm1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

Love this!
by mvap47 (338 reviews)
I love how this looks, how it outlines my eyelid, how the dark consistancy of the liner stays all day. The only downfall is that if you mess up applying, which is easy to do, you have to remove and start over...kinda annoying. May 9, 2008, 5:01 am1 of 1 people found this review helpful.
