This stubby pen combines the best of liquid and pencil liners. The marker tip makes dark pigment glide on without smudging, and it's easy to stash in your purse for touch-ups. (Read between the lines: This liner doesn't last.) The value pricing feels like a bargain until you consider how quickly you'll blow through a tube re-applying. We'd also like a better selection of colors -- beyond the basic black, brown and smoke.

Takes Practice
