this hairspray is so cheap! i cant believe how cheap V05 stuff is, and it totally works, i blow thru hairspray like its going out of style, lmty, and maybe it is, lolz, but you can use this all day and it wont fall out on you. great for teasing, washing out is easy too! — 4 years ago

good for backcombing

If you backcomb your hair, this stuff if great- it holds better than a lot of more expensive sprays. However, if you just want volume without backcombing, this doesn't quite cut it. — 3 years, 2 months ago

Darn Good Hairspray!

I like aerosol hair sprays better than spritzes but none have had the hold or the scent I have been able to tolerate. VO5 is the best! I don't know why I waste my money thinking I'm going to find something better, I just need to "stick" with this one! It has a nice scent but does not have the fume-y smell. The hold is killer and lasts all day for me. I also like the fact you can spray it when your hair is damp to lock in the semi-wet look without the hair moving. Oh, and did I mention it is wicked cheap? Don't bother with the big fancy name brand hair sprays. This one does all you need it to do and more! — 3 years, 10 months ago

I love VO5!!! I do get the extreme style and hold I want with this product. It is fast drying and still allows my hair to stay soft, unsticky and moves freely. There is no other product in my opinion that can do all this. — 3 years, 11 months ago

Lasts relatively well - can make it through a whole night of dancing. Leaves hair kind of stiff, but, depending on what you're doing, that can be ok. A lot of fall-out during application.
