  Be careful of products in the same line with different names but virtually same product!

  I've always loved Vo5 products, especially their leave in conditioner. Then at one point I bought their heat defense spray thinking it was different from the detangler spray (which came in a larger but different style bottle and was considered a different product) but one day I happened to compare their ingredients and they... were exactly the same! but buying the detangler was a better deal than the heat defense spray. The product is good but be sure you're getting the best deal for the size you're buying! May 24, 2008, 1:07 pm

  Perfect

  I like that this is not an aerosole. I use it every time on my hair prior the straightening. Have used it for years. Great smell, and it's not heavy so my hairstyle can go a day or two afterwards without washing. I agree with the editor, very difficult for traveling with.   above and beyond

  I don't style my hair often because it's always messed up after work anyways, but when I do, I ALWAYS use this before blow drying and straightening or curling my hair. It's in a very easy-to-use bottle and you don't need a whole lot for it to completely saturate your hair. Not only does it feel like it makes my hair stronge...r, but it makes it much shinier and smoother than when I don't use it. I just love how it doesn't make my hair feel greasy like some other conditioning sprays do. November 12, 2007, 12:55 pm

  keeps curls soft and beautiful

  This is great

  My hair is very damaged, it is very dry and brittle looking. I was very pleasantly surprised when after using Extreme Style Heat my hair actually looked healthy!   Portion Control

  Your liking of this product is completely dependent on portion control. Overuse will make your hair crunchy and sticky. I only use this when I straighten. I have semi-fine hair and so I use just a few sprays per section. It not only makes my hair soft and manageable, but offers amazing heat protection (i've noticed less ...split ends with frequent use). May 14, 2009, 9:15 am

  Halt the Heat!

  Alberto VO5 Extreme Style Heat Defense Conditioning Spray has done wonders to half the damage of my blowdryer. I could see the difference within a week and I won't blow dry without it now. If it didn't leave a slight stickiness in my hair, I would have given it a 9 or 10. November 4, 2009, 6:30 am

  I flat iron quite often, and a few sprays of this usually minimizes damage. The spray bottle is perfect too...deposits a nice mist into your hair, just the right amount. Doesn't weigh the hair down or affect the texture or style in anyway. Great product! And great price too! September 22, 2009, 8:09 pm

  Great Deal
