      A great product to use alone or in conjunction with make-up

      I purchased this because it had some SPF protection. I also needed to find something that is lightweight so that I can use in the summer. I found this very easy to use, and since summertime and make-up don't work well with me - this gave me the SPF protection I needed and the great moisturizing base, if I did wear the mak... I found this very easy to use, and since summertime and make-up don't work well with me - this gave me the SPF protection I needed and the great moisturizing base, if I did wear the make-up. I didn't give it a perfect 10 because during the summertime my face looked greasy when the heat was on too high. I would however just pat dry and it would help. A Big plus for me is that it would last just about all day! That is great, because I don't need to bring it with me, one morning application is enough. August 19, 2008, 12:14 pm

          • L'OCCITANE en Provence Smoothes Protects from UV damages Immortelle grows abundantly on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea and is exceptionally long-lived:  it never wilts, even after being picked.  Used for centuries, Immortelle flowers produce an essential oil that stimulates circulation and enhances cell renewal. The Protective Lotion is a light, refreshing and intensive day-care treatment, formulated with Immortelle essential oil.  The essential oil, concentrated into micro-capsules for prolonged release, is associated with vitamins A and E, UVA/UVB filters, plus a combination of three active ingredients** of vegetal origin to combat the effects of pollution. The skin is smooth, firm and oxygenated.  Effectively protected against aggressive external elements, its youthfulness is prolonged. *moisturizes the upper layers of the epidermis. **ivy, sunflower, bran of rice extracts.
