Not sure about this one...

Normally I am completely in love with all Bare Minerals products. This one, however, I am not so sure about. I bought it to use at night, as it is intended. I liked the fact that it was tinted and I thought it might make me look a little better with my makeup off all while helping my skin out. First off, it was really hard to tell if I was actually applying the powder to my face. Second, the ...read moremakeup rubbed off on my pillow case which I didn't like. Third, after weeks of trying it out, I never really saw any difference in my skin's appearance. So, I ended up returning it to the store. Maybe a translucent shade would be better? Not sure.

I have to say that I really like this product

I bought it a while ago but didn't use it consistently until recently, but I think that it works quite well. I have always been known to have quite poor skin and my sister commented the other day on the fact that my skin looked nearly flawless.

Hmmm...Interesting Product

Ok, I got this product in medium as part of a kit I bought on QVC recently. RareMinerals is a similar consistancy to the foundation that you apply with a sponge after your evening routine. I have been using it nightly for almost a week and I swear I see a difference! I am not kidding here. I am a combination skin type (really oily T-zone), with a little adult acne. Since using the RareMineral...read mores my skin is more radiant, less oily, more even toned, and my acne and little bumps have diminished significantly. I will continue using it! Bonus - Since is tinted it gives you a nice coverage so when you wake up your skin looks great (perfect if you have company). Only complaint - I don't like the sponge application.

Serves only as make-up for bedtime

I don't get it either. The only thing this does is even your complexion at night but if the Bare Minerals foundation itself is gentle enough to sleep in as they advertise, why do you need this stuff? It has the same ingredients as their make-up line so personally, I think this is a big waste of money. I used it for over a month and noticed no difference other than the fact that I looked better ...read moregoing to bed. If that's what you're aiming for, I'd just wear the foundation since it's supposedly just as gentle.

Good thing it was free!!

I received at free sample of this. I hated it! It was messy, powder was everywhere (the sample came in a tube with an applicator similar to lip gloss????). It created a bit of a dust while applying, it actually made me cough. I threw it in the trash. Not for me.

Not worth the price!

I was expecting a miracle for the price! I does go on smooth, and has a little color shimer to it. Good for hiding blemishes at night. I could not tell any difference in my complection after wearing it.

RareMinerals Skin Revival Treatment - a product for your nightstand

I've now added this product to my lip balm, hand cream and other last minute bedtime rituals. It's easy to apply and I love the results *your partner will enjoy you going to bed with an even complexion from the tint of the powder (however the clear formula is great too!

Good tone evener and calming.

I admit to having a hard time remembering to use this at night. However, I do enjoy how it feels going on and it hides imperfections while improving my skin's tone and texture. Overall not bad for maturing skin.

Good for aging, oily skin

I use this every night. It checks oil residue and softens my skin. I did stop using the applicator sponge. I unscrew it from the bottom and just use a facial brush. Much better and I can keep the brush clean.

Other uses

My face gets VERY red, so I use this before I put on my makeup and it has a nice calming effect that keeps my skin natural looking all day long. I keep forgetting to put it on at night though :)
