  Its okay

  I have this but find that I rarely carry it. I mix my bare minerals base make up and mineral veil together in it you do have to keep it in it carrying pouch if you expect it to be contained and then it is a bit bulky. The brush is not substantiall. I prefer to load the retractable brush and sprinkle a bit in the cap an... June 2, 2008, 8:14 am I have this but find that I rarely carry it.   A Bit of a Disappointment

  I've had this compact for a few years now, and rarely use it. I bought it thinking it would be perfect for carrying in my purse, but as others have mentioned, the brush isn't the greatest for application and the powders (I use Mineral Veil in mine) aren't very well contained.   I love the product but

  this one was junk. The brushes are outstanding and the make-up is awesome. This little compact doesn't seal so your powder ends up all over everything and eventually it will make it to your face. You'd do better carrying a retractable brush a pot with the minerals than this thing. February 10, 2008, 8:24 am

  I like The Compact But Dislike The Brush That Comes Inside It

  The compact is really cute and a pleasure to pull out. However, I don't care for the brush that comes inside of the compact. As, it simply doesn't measure up to any of the other brushes in the Bare Escentuals line at all. November 23, 2007, 10:48 pm

  another necessity

  This is a must have for Bare Minerals fans. I blended my foundation with a little bit of soft focus warmth to make the perfect color to freshen up with during the day. the mirror makes this very handy. Also easy to refill and very cute!! February 27, 2008, 5:23 pm

  Cute product, but....

  Very nice product, but I agree with the other girls--the brush isn't fabulous. I got it with my starter set, and I do like it. However, the Mineral Veil does go everywhere when you open it up. Still, a cute idea for carrying your powder with you. February 23, 2008, 7:36 pm

  Like this compact

  I like this compact in the fact that it does have the door that keeps your loose powder from going everywhere on top of the sifter and then getting everywhere when you need to use it. I honestly realised that it is much easier to just use pressed powder in my pocket book cause it's a lot less messy and use your loose powder...   its messy, the brush it difficult to get out n then the pwdr goes everywhere..ugh.. i think they have an updated one now though with a much better design... September 16, 2008, 12:10 pm

  Great idea but pops open

  I'm not sure if I just got one that is defective, but the lid pops open on mine if it bumps against anything. The inner plastic lid holding the brush has kept away any messy spills, but the top is difficult to keep closed. Great idea. August 17, 2008, 8:15 am
