This product is soft and pearly and looks nice on skin. I tried this product a few years ago when highlighters weren't as common in the market, and back then I thought it was fantastic. Now that there are many more choices this isn't the product I would go to for highlighting. It is runny, it doesn't blend easily (streaks galore) and is a time-consuming extra step that can be achieved with one of the ubiquitous powder highlighters that exist nowadays that look much more natural. I use High Beam everyday! The Benefit salespeople at Henri Bendel taught me how to apply it: You put 3 dots along your cheek bone, starting beneath the center of yor eye and moving up along your cheek bone. Then you blend it with your finger in an arch along your cheekbone & up toward your temple. The effect is subtle & beautiful. It gives you a youthful glow. I often get complemented on my "fresh" complexion & I owe it ALL to High Beam! I also dab & blend it on the inside corners of my eyes & along my browbones. November 24, 2007, 12:59 pm

i love Benefit's High Beam! i use it every morning as part of my make-up routine, and then again to touch up throughout the day. i apply it to the bridge of my nose around the corners of my eyes and on my chin. It highlites me in a way unparallel to any other products i've used in the past. Even when i've had a sleepless night, after i apply high beam to my eye area, it's an instant boost. Not only does this product do wonders to a tired face, the bottle lasts months! it's a money saver too!!! April 23, 2008, 6:03 am

Ever wonder why it's hard to duplicate the glossy look that appears on models in makeup ads?
If you're like me, hopes high, you purchase the product and apply it the way the sales assistant recommends but the results fall short of expectations. Where as in the ad that got you hooked, light bounces off the inside of the model's nose, reflects from the brow bone and highlights those fabulous cheekbones, yours on the other hand lacks definition.
High Beam is the answer. Just a few well blended dots along the areas noted above and you too will have that model look
I've been a fan of this product since it first came on the market.
Used alone, it wakes up a tired complexion and when mixed with your regular foundation it gives a glow that can't be beat. Just one word of warning: a little goes along way. Too much can give you that alien look. November 28, 2007, 12:54 pm

This product is one of the best highlighters on the market! Use it to make cheek bones pop, to highlight brow bones, or to create a dewey natural glow. I wear this product daily! The formula is easy to apply and downright mistake proof. Best of all, to creates a natural glowing look, not a fake shimmer or tacky sparkle. The formula blends in so easily, but its long lasting, leaving you looking bright and awake all throughout the day. May 7, 2008, 5:46 pm

High Beam does light your face up, like it says. I like to mix some with my MAC concealer and use under my eyes, applying with an eye shadow brush - it aaalmost makes those circles disappear. However, it's too expensive, not good for acne-prone skin, goes all goopy after a couple of months, and the nailpolish-style brush annoys me. March 31, 2008, 11:47 am

I got this product as a sample in the Mini-Fake-it Kit. It is AWESOME. After using it once, I immediately purchased the full-sized High Beam... Now, it's become part of my everyday makeup. The first day I wore it, I got many compliments... My co-workers said that I looked like I had a "glow," and also that I looked "refreshed." I highly recommend this, it is great!!! I've been using this product for 2 years now. It's always in my make-up bag and I use it in several ways. It works as a light eye shadow in the summer, on your cheeks as a light blush and even under eye shadow as a sort of base coat before you apply powdery or creamy shadow. It gives the skin a nice sheen, wherever it is and makes you glowy. Great product. Highly recommended. November 29, 2007, 12:25 pm
