Causes problems it promises to soothe
This product gave me very itchy, bumpy atopic dermatitis. I am very unhappy as this product specifically says it "helps visibly reduce redness and calm dry, irritated or sensitive skin while gently cleansing". It also says it is hypoallergenic. Foam Wonder
This foam cleanser is actually quite amazing. I usually like cream cleansers because they are moisturizing but I have to say, this cleanser left my face clean and refreshed, didn't irritate, and actually dealt with the redness and irritation. this is the best cleanser for sensitive or dry skin. it leaves you feeling not too dry but like the oils have been removed along with dirt and other makeup items (excluding mascara and lipstick). the foam relieves you of having to make bubbles with regular liquid wash. AMAZING!
To start, I have combo/dry skin, which is sensitive, and enjoys breaking out. I have tried everything from drugstore brands, to department store brands, to dermatologist reccomended products. Nothing worked. After using a prescription cleanser and cream for 4 months, neither working, I gave up hope. I had read several reviews on this cleanser, and since it offered nothing special, was just a norma...read morel cleasner, I though I'd give it a try. I purchased it for around $6-7 at Wal-Mart, and I'd pay much more! This cleanser is everything I could ever want! It cleanses your skin without leaving residue, or dryness. It leaves it soft, and smooth. REMEMBER! It is not supposed to help with acne, but this product has cleared my skin more than any other product I've ever used. Yes, I still have acne, but it isn't as bad as it used to be. This cleanser, along with the Ultra Calming moisturizer, has turned my skin around. Only fault is the packaging
This is very gentle but still cleans your skin well. On the two bottles I have purchased so far, the pump stops working about halfway through the bottle so that you have to manually push it down and pull it back up every time you pump out product. I bought this with my mom because I have been having some mild acne. My Skin combo is Oily. I've been told that Foaming Cleansers work best for Oily Skin. I've been using this cleanser for about a year! And I've realized that it it did nothing. good gentle cleanser
This is my fave cleanser at the moment. I was looking for a gentle fragrance free cleanser and stumble upon this one, heard good things about it so I picked it up. My go to gentle cleanser was cetaphil for oily/combo skin but I wanted to try something new and I really like this. Not drying on my cheeks and I also use this to get rid of oily residue on my eye area after I take off eye makeup with olive oil. Sensitive skin and bad acne
A few months ago my acne got so bad that I felt completely hideous. My mother had me on Proactive since that's what helped her acne get better. No matter how much I used it, though, my acne only got worse. On a whim I picked up the Aveeno ultra-cleanser to see if maybe my skin was too stressed. Now, my acne is tons better. I get flare-ups maybe once a month, and even then it's only two or three pi...read moremples! It's even helped with the redness in my skin and my skin feels a lot more smooth.
