Not for me
Hearing so many good things about Hope in a Jar from Philosophy I purchased this as a night cream, since I already have a daytime moisturizer with SPF that I love. I was so terribly disappointed with this. It does not feel good going onto my skin after cleansing at night. The smell was unpleasant (though not too strong, thankfully) and the consistency was odd. It felt like it was just sitting on top of skin not doing anything. After using this I would wake up to a terribly oily face with clumps of white residue. It was so bad it required me to do an extra cleanse just to get the junk off my face. I love my skin the next day...
I use this at night, and by morning, my skin is so soft and smooth. I finally learned the trick to application, not to rub it in, otherwise little "pills" form. Just pat it into skin. My only issue is sometimes I get neck acne when I use it. Not the best - at least not for me!
I heard and read so many good reviews about this product and thought I would give it a try. It is a nice mouisturizer however it did not do any drastic changes to my skin and the smell is not very pleasent for me. Even my husband noticed the awkward smell and asked me not to put it on at night! It is just not for me. May Be good but not for me

Very thick and oily product
I'm Asian with combination skin (oily t-zone and dry cheeks) and my face felt greasy after using this. Very thick and oily product. Smells just like Philosophy's Purity Made Simple. Major Hydration

No Longer Hoping
This product feels silky, smooth and substantial when you put it on your skin. My chronically dry skin is nicely hydrated and because it is formulated for sensitive skin, it does not make me break out like so many other products. The cream soaks in very well and my skin immediately feels softer and it remains that way as long as I use the cream every night. Compared to many other night creams the packaging is very simple and plain but I much prefer a product that works to a product in a pretty package. I think it is a very reasonable price for such a great product. I love it!
I was skeptical at first due to the feel of it, however, it goes on well and soaks right in. I love the smell (not to overpowering) I use it before I go to bed, I wake up with what I feel, better looking and feeling skin!
