Smashbox Photo Finish Color Correcting Foundation Primer
Editor's Rating & Review
These pricey, tinted primers claim to correct color, reduce wrinkles and "defy" dark spots. Reality check? There was minor improvement in redness, but not enough to skip makeup, as suggested. For oily skin types, layering the slippery silicone base over a moisturizer with SPF and topping with foundation may be too much. But normal to dry can experiment with the cheaper travel-size options before buying a full bottle.

Average
It is a decent product but barely. It doesn't meet expectations. It is overpriced and smells unpleasant after a few months of sitting. — 5 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Waste of Money/Time
I tried the Dark Spot Corrector (orange) and was completely disappointed. I had some colouring from vacation over the summer and hoped this would help conceal dark spots while I used another product to lighten them. Big mistake choosing this product!!! Not only did it make absolutely NO difference, it made my skin oilier than normal. It caused my makeup and powder to cake (something I had no problem with until I tried this corrector). I would recommend NOT buying this product and spending your money and time on a good spot fading product. I threw this product away and continued with the spot treatment which was amazing.
