Dermatologists do not, as a general rule, give a person a complete once over...even if he/she is asked. I know people mean well by saying, "Go to the dermatologist," but rarely do we actually see one...we see a doctor's assistant these days. They will usually only address one issue at a time. Prevention is the best, and have a family member look you over monthly in addition.
