It's great to see the top picks from a wide range of top nail polish experts. However, it drives me crazy that none of the articles include publication dates. There are so many articles that talk about "right now" colors or that recommend the best products for something, but how are we supposed to know whether those recommendations are current or two years old? Often the recommended products turn out to be discontinued. Very frustrating!

While I'd never wear black nail polish, I'm starting to like the idea of some of the less classic colors (in fact, I'm wearing a lovely teal polish from OPI right now!). It's interesting that colors we usually associate with fall and winter are the hot new shades for Spring and Summer.

I loooooove OPI nail polishes!! They have such a wide array of colors to choose from and I find myself standing in ULTA for hours trying to pick one!!! My favorite that I wore ALL winter is Give Me Moor (a super deep metallic-y purple). I got sooo many compliments on the color!!! Definitely wear a base and clear coat BEFORE applying dark colors though to avoid stains on your nails when you remove the color. A little tip I learned from my manicurist!!
