Look of the Week: Gemma Arterton

While I'm still on the fence about seeing "Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters" (I'm pretty sure the Brothers Grimm are rolling over in their graves), I'm 100 percent sold on Gemma Arterton's red carpet looks while promoting the film.

Last night, the actress stepped out with a romantic updo that would make a Grecian swoon. Having played a Greek goddess and a Persian princess before, Gemma certainly knows how to wear a crown, so it was no surprise she looked truly stunning in this gold leaf headband.

I first fell in love with this accessory when Keira Knightley wore a similar red Chanel style last year. Fortunately, a quick Etsy search turns up options that mimic this leafy headpiece -- at a fraction of the price.

Before securing your headband, be sure to tease your roots and mist…

Crabtree & Evelyn Gets in the Nail Polish Game

Crabtree & Evelyn is famous for their hand creams. Who hasn't picked up a tube of Gardeners for their mom or grandmother at some point? Their latest launch -- while still technically hand related -- is so much cooler: 21 gorgeous shades of nail polish.

They've got your basic pinks and reds covered, but we especially love the bolder colors like Apple, a shimmery green, and Slate, a chic gray. They're formulated without toxins like toluene and formaldehyde -- and they only cost $6 each.

So next time you're near a Crabtree & Evelyn be sure to stop in -- it's not just for hand cream anymore.

Make Up For Ever Offers Makeup Bag Rehab

At the beginning of 2013, we encouraged you to give your makeup bag an overhaul. So if you followed our advice, right now you should have a tightly edited, wearable collection of on-trend makeup. Right?

Well . . . maybe not. If you still need some help -- which is totally understandable in the ever-confusing land of color cosmetics -- Make Up For Ever is offering an amazing service to clear out the clutter. All you have to do is bring in your makeup bag and their artists will show you how to use what you have. The best part is you don't have to own a single Make Up For Ever product to participate. (Of course, if they identify a gaping hole in your makeup…

Alterna Haircare Announces Katie Holmes as Co-Owner and Spokesperson

We haven't been seeing Katie Holmes much on the silver screen and we have a hunch it's because she's too busy becoming the beauty world's new breakout star.

Earlier this week, Alterna Haircare announced its official partnership with the actress turned entrepreneur, who will be stepping into her new role as co-owner and celebrity spokesperson for the brand. Alterna is known for its professional formulations that are free of harsh chemicals, and made with globally sourced and organic ingredients, which fits well with Holmes' natural beauty and clean aesthetic. The first glimpse of the partnership will be released through Alterna's Spring 2013 campaign, which will feature Holmes and Bamboo Smooth Kendi Oils.

We'll also be seeing a lot more of Holmes next month when Bobbi Brown…

Dramatic Eyes at Chanel Haute Couture 2013

What do you get when you mix one part gothic woodland fairy, one part Black Swan, and sprinkle in a dash of Tim Burton for good measure? The crazy eye looks at Chanel's Spring 2013 Haute Couture show.

Models walked down a runway reminiscent of "A Midsummer's Night Dream" dressed in Karl Lagerfeld's latest creations with an ethereal meets edgy eye look that makes even the most exaggerated of cat eyes look tame.

Chanel’s Global Creative Director of makeup Peter Philips was the man responsible for the dramatic makeup on Cara Delevingne and co. Philips applied wing-shaped, mesh lashes along the lash line, blurring out the edges with a graphite pigment to create a smokey, smudged effect. The lids were filled in with a shimmery black shadow to create an eerie and mysterious look.
