Alterna Haircare Announces Katie Holmes as Co-Owner and Spokesperson

We haven't been seeing Katie Holmes much on the silver screen and we have a hunch it's because she's too busy becoming the beauty world's new breakout star.

Earlier this week, Alterna Haircare announced its official partnership with the actress turned entrepreneur, who will be stepping into her new role as co-owner and celebrity spokesperson for the brand. Alterna is known for its professional formulations that are free of harsh chemicals, and made with globally sourced and organic ingredients, which fits well with Holmes' natural beauty and clean aesthetic. The first glimpse of the partnership will be released through Alterna's Spring 2013 campaign, which will feature Holmes and Bamboo Smooth Kendi Oils.

We'll also be seeing a lot more of Holmes next month when Bobbi Brown launches its new campaign featuring the actress, who is the brand's first-ever celebrity representative. Hair, check. Make up, check. Your move, fragrance.
