Laura Mercier Mineral Powder SPF 15 Reviews

Light coverage and luminosity
This is the first mineral powder foundation I have tried. I was prompted to buy this after seeing some wonderful YouTube demos that made people's skin look amazing. I have not been disappointed. I have combination/dry skin and this works very well for me. It makes my skin feel velvety soft. It's hardly like I am wearing foundation at all, yet this evens out my skin tone and gives a nice glow, without being shimmery or at all glittery. I have especially been surprised by the staying power of this powder foundation. This remains nearly as nice as when applied, even hours later. One of my biggest gripes with my other foundations is that they start to settle into my pores and latch on to any dry patches by midday. Not so with Laura Mercier. I would recommend this to anyone looking for light coverage who wants a luminous look that lasts. — 1 year, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Wow
Hg powder finally! It's doesn't look like powder after a few minutes when it settles. it just looks like skin but it does have a glow to it. Not glittery and not even shimmery. It's hard to explain. But I love how I've found something that matches my skin to a t — 1 year, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 3 people said helpful

Best Mineral Foundation
I absolutely love this foundation. I was skeptical because I've tried others and they look great on my 17 year old daughter but I'm 37 and found that many times my lines would be more obvious and they are usually too matte. THIS product leaves skin luminous and beautiful and has such a soft texture. I use it with the Laura Mercier foundation primer and it's a great combo. Definitely worth the money! — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

shimmer!
I was appalled when I caught a mirror reflection of my skin while out in the sun. Sparkly--NOT the look I was going for! I have to mix this in with my Bare Minerals to calm the shine. The texture is lovely, but it is not a matte powder. — 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Didn't work for me
I was really excited to try this makeup because I had been hearing really good things about Laura Mercier's makeup line, but this stuff was terrible. A salesperson at Sephora suggested that this would be really good for my oily skin, but after using it I noticed that the makeup had almost turned yellow looking and you could see it pretty much sitting on top of my pores. I have never experienced that with a makeup before and I was surprised that such a "good" product would do this. I have incredibly oily skin with huge pores and the last thing I want is something showing them off! The powder texture is really nice and the packaging is great, I just wish it worked well with my skin and didn't show off my jumbo pores. — 1 year, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

not my fav from laura
wow, holy sparkles!....is what I thought after putting this on for the first time. This foundation is very shimmery. I really wanted to love this foundation because of all the great reviews on here, so I have been trying to for a week. But I am taking this product back to sephora. It didn't cause breakouts, but didn't make my skin any better. The coverage is medium at best. The worst part is all the shimmer! I look like a disco ball! It makes my already large pores even larger. I used with LM primer and setting powder, used without it, and just can't justify keeping this. I do love the packaging, powder doesn't fly everywhere. Thats about it. — 1 year, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Fab-U-lous
This mineral foundation is wonderful! I have used BE for years. When I tried this - I was ready to throw the BE out. It makes me look even toned, covers my sun spots, helps me still look natural and doesn't look odd on my pores. It lasts a long time- even in humid and hot weather. Unlike Bare Minerals, Laura Mercier Minder Powder SPF 15 has a natural finish. The SPF 15 is also a great touch. It is worth the money. — 1 year, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

shimmery
a bit too shimmery - perfect if you have perfect skin, otherwise it can show your imperfection even more (like large pores). great for setting make-up, it gives you a nice glow. — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 3 people said helpful

Absolutelyyy GORGEOUS.
Let's just say. This is beautiful. Truly :) Its a miracle powder. Its finish is breath-taking. Its has the glow from within look, and gives a creamy lovely finish. I have the driest skin ever! & This product is wonderful & isnt drying. Of course, I wear a moisturizer always, so idk what it would be like without one.. But, with a moisturizer, its not drying. It lasts throughout the day with a primer underneith. It was 30 something dollars, and it was DEFINETLY WORTH the price. The packaging is not messy... unlike bare minerals, its great I love it! xo — 2 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful
