A little goes a long way with this beeswaxy strong-hold wax, which hits all its claims. Emulsify between palms to sleek back stubborn layers that won't reach your ponytail. (Mine stayed intact 'til after dinner.) Ideal for short styles needing texture without crunch or shine. The jar is leave-on-the-counter cute, and considering it lasted six months, a fair value. Now, to find a soap that gets the extremely stubborn, sticky residue off my palms ...

    Just a dab of this takes care of all your hair for the entire day and the entire evening as well. I almost never required a touch-up when transitioning from day to night, but if I did want to amp up the style, it took a tiny tiny amount to completely revamp my style into the prefect night out on the town look! This produ...ct is versatile enough to allow you to get, and keep, that tousled just-out-of-bed look, or the full-on over-the-top vamp look.     Bumble and Bumble has done an amazing job with all their products -- and sumo wax is no exception. It's strong without being sticky or flaky like the gels of yesteryear. It helps you "piece" your hair and gives you a little of that "day after" look from when you washed your hair; right on the day you was...hed your hair! It's pricey, yes, but it's high quality and if you use a dime or nickel sized amount, it'll last about 6 months. Definitely worth it. April 29, 2008, 10:50 am

    I work at a Bb sponsored hair salon and had only dabbled with the products before but I absolutely fell in love with this wax! It doesn't weigh down my thick hair, perks up my roots, and lasts and smells delicious while lasting! I will admit that I prefer the sumoTECH. :) October 16, 2008, 9:26 pm

    Great for piecy short hair

    tough stuff

    My stylist recommended this for my highly textured razor cut style, and it's great. I rather like using the hairdryer to soften the product, it still remains quite solid, so you don't get too much product on your fingers. A little bit goes a long way, and keeps your flyaways under control. If you use it for texture and p...iecing, it should last quite a long time. As for getting residue off your hands, a little Lava soap will scrub them clean. June 11, 2008, 4:10 pm
