Very vivid!
I really love this lipstick, sadly my local Walmart was sold out of most colors (for good reason). I purchased this in "Vivid Rose" and the colour is fantastic! I will be going back for more because I need more lipsticks like this in my life! They glide on smooth and creamy, and feel comfortable (not super moisturizing or drying). They are bold but anyone can wear these, they have a wonderful undertone that complements so many skin tones I would never tell anyone to shy away from these. This year neon is so in so why not wear them on the lips? I usually shy away from a really strong lip color in cases where I'm iffy if I have time or a mirror to touch up, and I often fear bleeding from bright colours but this formula is strong! It stays put through a lot like a long wear lip stain and even when the creamy part of the colour wears off you're still left with a nice tone to your lips similar to the color (just a little lighter). Such Fun!
When I heard that Maybelline was launching a neon lipstick line, I was skeptical. My experience with neon lipsticks has always been disappointing-I have found that they are always either too sheer or they completely accentuate fine lines in my lips. However, Maybelline’s regular lipsticks are favorites of mine, so I decided to give this collection a shot and purchased two shades. I was beyond delighted, and have since collected 7 of the colors. Each one is unique and bold, yet somehow wearable. The formula to these lipsticks is typical for Maybelline-smooth and creamy, buildable, and not too sticky. I have actually found these lipsticks to have a bit stronger staying power than the regular line. I’m not sure how Maybelline managed to formulate such an amazing neon line, but it is so great to have so many bold colors to make a statement with, confidently. That has been very important to me-when I am making such a bold statement with my lips, I don’t want to have to worry about the quality of the lipstick. This collection gives me the assurance I need to rock the bold lip, be it neon red, pink, fuschia, orange, coral, purple, or rose. I sincerely hope that these colors go on the permanent line, because they are truly statements and I think the drugstore needs more ridiculously daring colors like these. The price is great for the quality, and the packaging is super fun! Now that spring is just around the corner, I will likely be rocking one of these shades nearly every single day. I don’t have anything bad to say about the product, and that in itself is a statement. Perfect for Spring and Summer
These are amazing bet you cant just buy one. I was drawn to the awesome colors and ended up buy only one but went back for more. They are smooth and creamy. A tad drying but nothing major.
