    Good Staple Brush for Everyone

I am not a fan of UD foundation, but my mother had this brush and I used it once and fell in love. I'm not sure if its the sleek design, the plush thick bristles, or the fact that it just gets the job done that I immediately had to get my own, but I can't imagine putting on my face without it. I'll start with the cons because they are few: This isn't a do-it-all brush like some of the brushes I have gotten from Sephora--it is limited in the space it covers with each sweep, and will not apply fine powder well. It is expensive! And I find that it needs more regular cleaning than other foundation brushes, and to retain the super soft feeling you need to add some unscented hair conditioner after cleaning. Okay, here's the pros: I have yet to find a brush that will compare with the same quality of finish with the widest variety of foundation, I have tried liquids (matt and luminous), mousses, creams, cream to powders, and thick powders and all seem to come out perfectly. There is a trick of working in circles, but after you get the hang of it, you end up using less foundation than with lower quality brushes. In summation, despite being expensive and a little more maintenance, this brush would make everyone's foundation much more happy to go on. — 2 months ago
