My new must-have
I was so excited to have a chance to review this product. When I took it out of the box, I immediately noticed how much I liked the shape of the bottle. It has a nice pump top that does not get messy, but dispenses a small amount of product, so none is wasted. The color of the tinted moisturizer is very nice and neutral, and the scent of the lotion was nice and light. I was glad to see the high SPF factor on this product as well. I decided to use this for a week before commenting about it. I live at the beach, so I'm out in the sun all the time. I used this every day, even when I was laying out, and I am extremely impressed. It doesn't run, even in high heat, and does not sweat off. The lasting power was terrific and the coverage of the tinted moisturizer was sheer, but substantial enough to replace my foundation(though you might still want to use concealer as needed). Towards the end of the day, it got a little shiny, but nothing that I could not live with. The best part about this product is even after hours of direct sun exposure, I was not burned. I have also noticed that after a week, my skin does seem to be a bit brighter overall. This is an absolutely amazing product. It is perfect if you want light to medium coverage and stellar sun protection. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Pros and Mainly Cons
I really liked the smell of this moisturizer. It didn't smell like sunscreen, rather it almost smelled like ginger. It also provided good coverage - more so than I was expecting. I would actually say it gave me lightly medium coverage and it did hide my blemishes. I like that it has SPF and it lasted pretty long. Now for the cons, which are the reason I would not purchase this moisturizer. For one, I tried the lightest color possible, which was more like a medium for other brands. The product had a brown/yellow undertone making my skin look orange, not healthy and pink. The product was too liquid for me. On the face this meant it felt extremely oily and this never went away the entire time I wore it. I hated this product.
Wow, I really wasn't expecting such a crappy product from Aveeno. The one I have is in "light to medium" and let me tell you, It's neither. In fact, it's ORANGE. I have combo skin, maybe a little on the dry side, and this accentuated every little pack of dry skin I had. I'm very fair with freckles, and this tint really made me look orange. It stung my skin and eyes as well. I don't know why because I've used other Aveeno products before. This doesn't sink in the skin at all, rather sits on top of it. It slides all over the place! It makes the face look dirty. It's very overly fragranced, a strong soapy smell. (maybe that's why it hurt my eyes and stung). I wouldn't ever purchase this. One of the better ones
I actually like this better than Laura Merceir and find it on par with or better than Stila. It provides more coverage which I need. Not a fan
I love reviewing new products from Totalbeauty. I have high reguards for most Aveeno products. The SPF was great, I loved the package and mousse like texture. However this sheer moisturizer didn't not sink into my skin. It was oily, orange, and greasy. It also had a strong frangrance smell that I didn't like. It wasn't sheer, nor did it correct my skin. Actually I think it made my face super oily. I wore it to the gym to see if it was sweat proof and it melted off. Great Aveeno product
The shade I got was too dark for my skin tone, however, I still tested the quality of the moisturizer and found it hydrated well for a tinted moisturizer. Definitely a must-try
This is one of the most fast-acting skincare solutions that I have ever tried. My skin is EXTREMELY acne-prone and the winter weather has left it extremely parched--so needless to say, finding a decent moisturizer for me is a difficult task. However, this tinted moisturizer has surpassed my expectations in that my skin cleared up only after 3 uses (no more whiteheads or bumps), evens out my skintone, keeps my skin comfortably hydrated and provides a smooth base for my foundation. Yes, I use this product under foundation because my skintone is fair and this "light to medium" tint is too dark/warm-toned for me. I learned to work with this downfall and eliminated bronzer, day moisturizer, sunscreen and acne spot treatment from my routine. Definitely happy with this product and would definitely recommend it to people of all ages (whether you need help with acne or with aging skin). Now, I'm hoping that this product will also help fade away skin discoloration (as promised on the package) over time, of course. Feels and looks great
I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to experience a full size product, hank you total beauty. I will first sy that this is my new go to sunblock/tinted moisturizer for the pool and beach. I live at the each and try to stay out of the sun as much as possible. I love the way it goes on, very smooth and just enough color to even out my skin tone without looking made up. The SPF is a good amount of blockage against the Suns rays, but I keep a layer of neutrogenia city block as a base. I was able to set it with my Laura mercier setting powder and my skin looked fantastic. It is a generous size, easy dispensing and not loaded with toomuchfrangrance. I would give it five stars, but I did feel it easy started to slide a little towards the end of the day. Disappointed....
I really like the packaging of this. Its so cute but the pump dispenses a lot so i only pump halfway and not all the way. I usually wear the light to medium color but this is a little darker. Its more suited for the summer when your skin is darker than the winter. I forgot to read the description and didnt know that there were light particles in it. I did not want any light particles since my skin is really oily and i wouldnt want it to seem like I was sparkling. I also dont like how the product is very thick that it makes it hard to spread and apply evenly. The only good thing is that it gives a light coverage but it doesnt absorb well.
