Weird shimmer/glitter in this cream

I can't get past the heavy glitter used in this product.... whenever I use this, I look like I should be going on stage for a cabaret show or I look like I work as a stripper. Even though it has a high spf, I only wear it at night, because the glitter just looks too strange during the day. I have finished using up the product and I don't notice any difference in my skin at all. Maybe this was a bad batch? but I'm not going to use this product again. It's a shame.
