Beautiful, buildable mascara
I am so surprised to see several bad reviews of this mascara. This is one of my absolute favorites. Lancome, overall makes wonderful mascaras. I continually return to Lancome after other disappointing mascara purchases. Lancome mascaras do not irritate my eyes, even when I wear contacts. The Doll Lash in particular is effective at building my lash volume, while maintaining a sleek, separated look. I don't agree with other reviewers that it clumps. I am on my third tube of this now. As mascaras get older, they will all tend to clump if you do not replace them. Mascaras don't have the longest shelf life. What is extra special about the Doll Lash is its unique wand. It is tapered so that you can easily and precisely apply the mascara to both the inner and outer corner lashes. Being able to do this without making a huge mess creates such a nice lash look. Like all the Lancome mascaras, this is is expensive but it is at least as effective (I think much more so in many cases) than other mascaras in its price range. Fun flirty lashes
I was so excited to try this product. I used it for the first time going to a friend's wedding in the summer heat. It went on flawlessly and made my lashes thick and long. out the whole day and evening it didn't flake off or come off under my eyes. HATE IT

Not a fan

nice brush, but can give racoon eye
Okay I saw this on either qvc or hsn and was enthralled so I bought it. Now the brush made my lashes look super long and not at all spider like, but by itself it made black smudges around my eyes. I tend to blink alot but have no problems with buxom or maybelline, so I I found a solution since I do like this product. First but on a water proof one coat light than apply the hypnose la come than apply another water proof mascara or Shelac, which makesmmakeup water resistant and mostly rub resistant too. Not as good as other Lancome mascara
We’ll start with the brush. It is not very intimidating. It is shaped like a cone (think Christmas Tree) and has a medium density of bristles. I’m not sure why but I get a lot more product on the tube part of the wand than I have with other mascaras, which ends up leaving product on my face since I hit my cheekbones sometimes. The formula itself is very thick and sometimes clumps on the wand which is tough to fix with the shape of the brush. How does it do on the eyes? I felt that I got tons more length and tons more volume however it really clumped my lashes together which I really don’t like. Would I buy doll lashes again? Wonderful Mascara!
I really don’t understand why this product has such a low rating. In my opinion, it really transformed my lashes, making my eyes look awake, and my lashes literally doll-like. I have naturally long, dark lashes that are noticeable without the mascara. I first tried this at a Lancome counter at Herberger’s and was completely wowed by the result. The formula seemed just right, neither too runny nor goopy. As I applied it, this gave my lashes a nice lift. I like that it has a slightly tapered end because it makes it more convenient to cover the lashes at the inner corners of the eyes. Once I applied it, I had it on for the whole day. The lashes didn’t clump together, there was no bulky mascara residue over them, just the same amount that I layered on earlier. There was no flaking or smudging, my eyes looked wide awake. It actually gave this really pretty look to my lashes, particularly for the ones along the outer corners of my eyes. It gave a flirty outwards lift to them which no other mascara has done for me before! My lashes looked fuller and numerous, as this mascara separated them (as long as the application technique is right too). This all was experienced with one coat of mascara. I am not fond of layering on too much of chemicals on my lashes, so I normally stick to one layer, unless the mascara doesn’t work well in the first layer. My friends said that something looked different about me, in a good way, but they couldn’t really figure out. All in all, I love this mascara! Only downside for me is the killer price - $26!!! Not for Contact Wearers
