Review: E.L.F. Studio Little Black Beauty Book
I have the Cool Edition and it is great! I love the pigmentation of the shadows, and the lip colors are very moisturizing. Overall, the shaodws are very pigmented except one blue one. The pigmentaion is better on the silkier feeling eyeshadows. Most have a powdery texture(not to powdery, just right) but some have a slky feel almost like my Stila eyeshadows. The shadows last all day, and don't crease. At least with the primer I have been using, I have been using Urban Decay, Tarte "Lifted", Smashbox Photo Finish, or Benefit Stay Dont Stray. Overall, the shadows are great and they remind me alot of the texture of the E.L.F. Brightening Eye Color Quads as well as Stila shadows. Some shadows are more pigmented then others, but overall they are great. As for the lip glosses, they are so pigmented I dont even call them glosses! They are like somone just melted down lipsticks and stuck them in little pans. They are not incredibly long lasting, but they are not to bad. The applicator is not very good, but it is easy to just use a brush. Great little kit!
I got this in the Cool Kit. Love the color selection for both eyes and lips. I can create many looks with this. Very travel friendly. My only thing about this kit is there needs to be a plastic insert to help prevent the eyeshadow powder from getting into the lip color. Otherwise, it can get messy. very cute
