Good value

This is a matte lipstick. It doesn't dry my lips and it feels weightless. The lasting power is quite decent. Don't expect that it will stay on all day, but it does a good job of lasting. I also like that the color is quite true and pigmented, all for only $3. It's just a little too sticky though. It's creamier than most matte lipsticks, but kind of dry than regular lipsticks.

Opaque matte but....

I find that these weren't really true to color. The color looks really good in the tube but when applied, it looks really weird on my lips and kind of washes me out. I don't like how it's quite drying when applied. I like the Fergie lipsticks better than this since they seem to be more moisturizing. I use a balm underneath before applying. It tugs on my lips but overall, the color is really opaque and stays matte. Good product for the price.

Definitely worth trying

The reason I tried these is that I needed a new lipstick fix for fall, but am trying to save money at the moment. And, yes, I am a lipstick hoarder. I saw online that several of these lipsticks were dupes for some popular MAC lipsticks. I found these on sale for less than seventy cents each (they are normally about two dollars). They have great colors, something for every age, taste, and occa...read moresion. They are listed as semi matte which is right. They are a comfortable. They are very pigmented, last reasonable long, even through eating. They wear evenly, do not creep or bleed into lip lines. I like the fact that they are fragrance and taste free. They are definitely not MAC feeling, but unlike MAC, I love the fact that Wet n Wild does not test on animals. The color I wanted was Sugar Plum Fairy, which is supposed to replicate MAC Rebel. It was sold out. I did buy Cherry Bomb which is a deep, vampy blackened cherry (thing of the color of the skin of a bing cherry). It is allegedly a dupe for MAC Diva. I love the color and wanted a vampy lipstick--it is perfect, especially because I do not have a place to wear it on a regular basis. With Cherry Bomb only, the color applied a little splotchy and uneven--needed a couple of coats to even the color out. I also bought Mauve Outta Here which is a medium toned orchid/mauve. My favorite is Spiked Rum which is supposed to be a dupe for MAC Del Rio, which is a mid toned, very wearable plummy brown--very flattering. I do not own any of the MAC colors these are supposed to dupe, but if you want to try a color out of your comfort zone, try a dupe before the expensive brand, get something you will not have the occasion to wear often, save money, or get a lot of inexpensive colors, these are definitely worth trying out. There are also a lot of every day colors, nudes, reds, pinks, purples, and browns.

Great Value Lip Stick

Matte and surprisingly very pigmented for the price! I got this at Walgreens while it was on sale for $1.50. For the price I cant' complain!! It applies very smooth but feels a little drying on the lips (like all matte lipsticks do) so I would definitely put lip balm underneath. It does have a plastic unpleasant smell if you smell it in the tube. Can't notice it on your lips though. Packaging looks cheap but is secure.

Best for the price

When I first discovered this line at the drugstore, I was a bit skeptical. While I was mesmerized by the bright colors, the price seemed too good to be true! Here is what ...read moreto expect from the formula: -Matte finish, although there is a bit of sheen upon initial application -Doesn’t feather AT ALL -Great pigmentation -This is a thick formula. It can seem a bit sticky, so make sure you moisturize your lips prior to use. As is common with matte formulas, it’s important that your lips are exfoliated and smooth to avoid caking. Application is pretty smooth and even. However, every 4 hours or so I like to wipe everything off and start over to keep my look flawless and give my lips another dose of moisture. My shades are Purty Persimmon [bright fire orange], Think Pink [powdery light nude pink], and Pinkerbell [neon pink]. I love them equally and find all of them true to the color you see in the tube. Even though the formula is matte, I have not had any problems with them drying out my lips; however, I always moisturize under lipsticks. You get quite a bit of product in the tube, but they way they are packaged, about ¼” of product sticks out of the tube at the top. This means you have to be extremely careful when closing the product so as to avoid taking a chunk off with the cap. Overall, I would highly recommend these to anyone looking to expand their lip collection on a budget, as they have a wide variety of colors as well as the occasional special edition collections. I would love to expand my collection of this line.

Good matte

I am not sure about he long lasting part but this is definitely a good matte finished product. I only have it in orange as I am partial to the other wet and wild lip stick line.

wet n Wild Mega Last

my new favorite drugstore lipstick. Not only is the price super affordable its on sale at our local walgreens. I just bought a bunch and love every color. these lipsticks are so pigmented you don't have to put a lip liner on they are very bold and extremely matte. This is one lipstick that last hours, and when it starts wearing it leaves a beautiful stain on your lips. You dont have to keep re app...read morelying. Its not really sticky at all and its between creamy semi moist or could be a little dry. I notice it depends on each lipstick. Taking off the top of the tube is a little frustrating because I nick the lipstick almost every time but I can live with that. The lipstick itself is compacted although in the tube is a little unsturdy which is fine with me. You definitely cant beat the price. Today I bought Just peach, Think Pink, dont blink pink, dollhouse pink, Bare it All, smokin hot pink, Cherry picking. I want to get all the shades. Its a nice variety of shades to have

Great Steal

I bought the classic peachy nude color every basic beauty guru loves: 903C. I also tried out a darker brown color, but the sticker on mine with the number wore off. The nude color everyone loves is great. It has one-swipe full opacity and coverage, a smooth formula both in application and wear, and it lasts a long time. It fades evenly and actually makes my lips look smoother and less wrinkly some...read morehow. The brown shade has a nice end result, but takes some more layering to get to that point. It definitely goes on sheer at first, especially on the edges of your lips. These lipsticks have no scent which I like too. Some cons about the lipsticks overall is they have a flat, wide top, which makes it difficult to apply precisely. Also, the packaging is very cheap and I have had the bullet fall out of the tube many times. I would recommend lighter shades over darker shades if you want an effortless application, but at such a low price it is worth it to try the darker colors and just layer a bit more.
