Lashes have never felt so good
I've completely fallen in love with this mascara. First off the packaging is gorg! And second this is the BEST mascara ever created! All natural ingredients 47% of which are organic! Paraben,dye, and other typical mascara ingredients free meaning healthier mosturized lashes! Plus it's free if you live in Canada! Just go to the PF website and download the mail in rebate form. I admit I was skeptical at first because of the ingredients but when I put it on BOOM my lashes were bigger then when I use Benefit BADgal and CG Lash Blast combined! Wonderful mascara with natural ingredients
I have used countless mascaras over the years and am constantly looking for the next best thing, especially in the natural/cruelty-free space. I didn't expect a drugstore brand to do such a good job with this idea! The first thing that caught my eye was the tube. Really cute and made of recycled material (definitely a plus) and the wand is recyclable as well (plus plus). I was wondering how it would feel to hold the applicator in my hand though, with it's curvy handle. It wasn't a problem at all, felt nice and natural in my hand. The formula smelled pleasant. Not like roses, but not chemically either. The only thing that kinda spooked me was the size of the big jumbo brush. All I could see was this big ball with spikes coming near my eye. Also, the bristles don't get the small lashes in the inside corner of your eye that well. But besides these two issues, it did a really nice job of separating my lashes and adding length and fullness to them without clumping. I think they really nailed it. What I've Been Looking For!
The skin around my eyes is really sensitive. The wrong product causes the skin around my eyes to turn an orangey pink color-I suppose it's a kind of allergic reaction. I also have an issue where a liner/mascara can irritate my actual eye and I will be really uncomfortable for the whole day, so buying a new mascara is always tricky business for me. This mascara dosent give me an allergic skin reaction or irritate my eyes. I can put it on generously be comfortable all day! It also is a great mascara! I love the way it looks on my lashes, really makes them MUCH more prominent, and i havent had any issues of crumbling. AND it smells like any other mascara I've used, AND it's affordable! a keeper!
I really like this product. It does not clump, it does not have an odor. The "jumbo" part of it is not overly dramatic. I like the formula alot! I would highly recommend trying it if you are looking for something natural that won't harm your delicate eyes. Lash Boosting Mascara
I just bought the new lash boosting mascara, in the same adorable packaging except it's black, and it's supposed to promote length, thickness, and volume over time and enhance lashes instantly. I have never been this obsessed with a mascara from the first use, my lashes are suddenly gigantic and gorgeous, it's like my eyes just appeared, and it feels good going on. The brush is a little intimidating, but its not problematic. I got the ultra black because I cannot stand when products look grey instead of black. I swear it doesn't even feel like I am wearing mascara. I'm actually pretty shocked. I hesitate to say "wowed" but I'm definitely pleasantly surprised by this mascara. Before I tried it it seemed gimmicky to me. I can appreciate that it is all natural and the tube and cap shaped like a leaf are kind of cute but (unfortunately) like most organic products what you get in "natural" and "eco-friendly" you give up in performance and formula. Not entirely so with this mascara. It goes on smoothly and relatively un-clumpy. It's not as dark or pigmented as it could be but this is likely due to the natural pigments instead of synthetic dyes. I don't have sensitive eyes so I can't attest for the difference as far as that goes between this and other mascaras but it did somehow *feel* healthier. Maybe it was the "green halo" effect of knowing that it was natural, but my lashes didn't feel as abused and taking it off seemed easier (though it can be a bit gummy when removing it). I have to disclose that I got this mascara for free from someone who designs the packaging over at Physicians Formula and I'm not sure I'd actually spend my hard-earned cash on it but I am happy I got to try it and will continue to use it until it's finished. I got this at CVS after I heard so many people rave about it.
