These are smooth and creamy with just a bit of shine. They have a pearl finish, but do NOT look frosty. They really help condition my lips and provide a flawless finish on the lip. but the shades kind of all feel the same to me. My advice is to just buy ONE, and if you like then expand your horizons. They're nice to wear over a lip color, but they don't look too shimmery alone if that's the way you want to wear it. I always like to layer light, shimmery shades over darker lipstick for a dimension-adding effect, so I was excited when Maybelline started advertising these new shades. I already liked their Color Sensational lipsticks, and these are just as good. They're creamy and comfortable. The colors are gorgeous, and the price is fantastic.
