OMG!!!!
I think I found my perfect color here- a touch of pink. It's not too red, not too pink, just looks like I got kissed for a while:) Anyway, as usual it isn't moisturizing of course, but I like it better than all the rest I have tried. Good staying power, and doesn't dry out my lips as bad as other brands. I don't have much experience with lipstains, but I hated this product. The first reason is that the color is NOTHING like what it looks like on the tube - it's much darker. I bought what looked like a peachy-nude shade and ended up with dark coral lips. The color doesn't go on evenly, either. The felt-tip doesn't stay saturated, and you have to shake it to get the color to come out. It really is kind of a pain to apply, and then it leaves your lips feeling dry after a few minutes. Mystery color
As many other reviews have pointed out, you probably won't end up with the color you thought you bought. The color in the tube is quite different than the packaging display; it didn't really bother me too much because I love the colors I purchased despite them varying from the packaging. This particular stain isn't long- lasting by any means & actually wipes off easily so don't expect to eat a meal and keep your color. I also really liked the smell of this, very fruity! I actually didn't find this drying although I haven't tried any lip-stain that has dried out my lips. Between drugstore brands, I much prefer Revlon's Just Bitten lip-stain to this but this one is loads better than CoverGirl's lip-stain! The tube also lasts quite awhile. I love this!
This is my first lipstain and i must say i found the one! it smells good, looks good, and stays on. I have the color cranberry crush and i can blend just a little bit to make it ligther or add more to darken it. I think this was the most drying lip stain I've tried.
All but one lip stain that I've tried have been drying, the exception being NYC's 16-Hr Lip Stain. This lip stain, though, was probably the most drying of them all. I wore this to formal and applied a bunch of chapstick on top of it and my lips were the worst they have EVER been. It was like a layer of dryness over my lips that I basically had to peel off because the chapstick would not absorb. Painful and gross. Like it A Lot
This one is my favorite so far. I have Touch of Toffee (thinking about it now, that's an odd name for a color that's supposed to be pink) and although others have complained about the color of the tube not being accurate, on me it's spot-on: a nice light pink that perfectly matches my favorite coral top and the MAC Lipglass the BF got me for Christmas. =) It's great for layering, so I can apply just enough for a slightly natural look or a little more for drama. The staying time is good--not great, just good. Most of it will make it through my 5-hour waitress shift, but if I'm wearing it all day I have to re-apply at least once. Eh...
I really liked the colors that were offered, but the product itself was lacking. When first used, the color on the lips were very solid and vibrant, but after a short while the stain fades away. It does not last very long and can be washed off with water.
