Just used AGE beautiful hair color and I'm incredibly impressed

Was at Sally Beauty Supply yesterday looking for a color since I just changed the color of my hair about four weeks ago to a reddish brown. Very outside my boundaries. With the now incoming grays and my very silver birthmark, finding a red color that doesn't turn my hair hot pink, is incredibly difficult. Saw AGE beautiful and held the color next to my hair and then held my breath as I started the process hoping for the best but expecting to be again, disappointed. I COULDN'T BE MORE IMPRESSED. First time customer, now life long buyer. I will never go back to anything else. The color did exactly as the box said it would, totally covered my gray and colored the gray/silver expertly. The color blends well with the overall color and it was super soft after styling and full. That was an added benefit. This is the best quality hair color I've used outside of a salon. I actually like it better than I did a lot of the professional lines that I've used. I use 4RC with 20 volume developer, and it is a really natural shade of dark auburn. Leaves my hair in decent condition (as much as any chemical can, I suppose), and the best part is that it doesn't fade anywhere as much as I'd resigned myself to with other brands. I'm touching up my roots right now and for the first time I can remember, I will be able to just pull it through the rest for the last few minutes. It would be nice if it covered gray a little better, but I'm much more concerned with finding a good shade that doesn't have any strange undertones to it and that doesn't fade into a weird brassy color after three or four weeks. — 1 year, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful
