Garnier Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel-Cream
I was sent this product to review, and I have to say I really liked it. I have extremely oily skin, I prefer a serum or gel type of moisturiser. I have used this product for almost three weeks and I am quite pleased with the results I received. The product soaked into my skin quite quickly. It feel really cool and soothing and it didn't make my skin feel sticky or affect the length of wear with my cosmetics. The texture is really nice, not too thick or too thin, and I will probably continue to use this product, my results were very positive. I didn't break out nor did I have any sensitivity to the product. I give it 10 stars, it did exactly what it said it would, and it is far less expensive than what I have been using. — 2 years, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 9 of 9 people said helpful

refreshing rescue for winter dryness!
ever since they discontinued the c.o. bigelow rose hydrating gel =( i've been on the search for a comparable product and i think i've found it! i have combo skin - dry cheeks + oily/shiny t-zone - that gets incredibly dry in the winter. every other moisturizer i try seems to make my t-zone even shinier w/o really hydrating my dry zones. but this does the trick! a little bit of the thick gel goes a long way and it quickly sinks into your skin, leaving it soft and supple and lightly scented (my hubby commented how much he liked it!) i use it as part of my pm routine and in the am when i'm not wearing any other makeup. the only quibble is that it doesn't seem to be compatible with my usual tinted moisturizer (laura mercier) but i guess that's to be expected for a gel-cream. — 2 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

Good hydrator buy may be too oily for some
This felt nice upon application, not sticky. Skin feels smooth and soft. But by midday my skin becomes very shiny and oily. Better to use at night time. Overall it's a good basic moisturizer. — 2 years, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 4 people said helpful

As close to a cream as you're gonna get
My skin is dry like the Sahara, so this gel had a lot of work to do if it was going to act as moisturizing as a traditional cream. I found that it glides on very easily, absorbs like a dream, but doesn't hydrate as well as a traditional cream. I do love it for night time moisture because it doesn't feel heavy on the skin and on the HUGE plus side, it was very easy on my skin as I am very breakout prone as well. The scent is nice, which is another plus. I will continue to get this product because I feel it does have a place in my very tedious regime of getting myself together, and the price is so very nice. — 2 years, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 5 people said helpful

Impressed by this Product
On first trying this product I was quite impressed. It readily absorbed with absolutely no oily or sticky after feeling. My skin felt smooth and balanced. My skin is normal/oily and often times moisturizers can make my skin feel "slick" and over moisturzed even after makeup application. This gel-cream did NOT. It made a good base for use under sunscreen or SPF makeup. My skin stayed comfortable all day. Drier skins note: this may not be enough for you skin especially if it tends to feel tight. Those with dry skin may want to use a richer moisturizer on top of this for night (if you don't like an extra step in your nighttime routine then this moisturizer may not be for you) or a moisturizing makeup over it during the day. Normal/oily and oily skin should have no problems. I'm not a big fan of drugstore skin care but I have to say I am optimistic with this gel-cream. — 2 years, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 5 people said helpful

moisture without the heavy
I can't believe there's a face cream that doesn't make my face look like an oil slick. I love this. A little goes a long way. My face is hydrated without any heaviness. This is great for those with oily or combination skin. — 2 years, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

Great!
I was surprised I really like this product! Some of the Garnier Products I have tried on my face have not been good for my sometimes sensitive skin, but this worked very well. It did a nice job of moisturizing my skin without making my skin greasy. It dries very quickly, and makes my skin look healthy. It is a nice quality product for a great price in my opinion :) — 2 years, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Excellent!
This new moisturizer is my favorite ever - no contest. I have skin that tends to dry to the point of flaking after washing, then gets very oily throughout the day. This gel-cream zaps dryness instantly and absorbs amazingly! But it's not the least bit greasy, and stays that way. The price is almost surprisingly low for such a great product, where a little goes a long way. Also, it smells plaesant, and even looks pretty in the jar! I hope they keep making this for a long, long time. — 2 years, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 6 of 6 people said helpful

Great Balance
I love this moisturizer because it gave my combination oily skin only the hydration it needed and nothing extra. It's very hard for me to find a good moisturizer that doesn't break me out and I believe that this new Garnier gel-cream is a very good option for me. Also, this doesn't interfere with my liquid foundation which I use almost on a daily basis. — 2 years, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 5 people said helpful
