my go-to!
this is the mascara that i continue to buy, and that says something. i'm one of those that tries something and if it's ok, i'll try something else next time. but this mascara is my go-to. i love the deep black color, it gives great volume and it doesn't clump at all. i like the plastic brush style (i am not a fan of the bristle brush style of mascara). a tube lasts me a long time and when it starts to be too dry to get much volume, i use it for a base coat of mascara and use a new tube for the finishing coat (makes extra volume with no clumps!). i do not find that this flakes during the day and even though i have the water resistant version, it is easily removed with soap (and not super water resistant). my lashes are not brittle or uncomfortable either. it is a great price and available at a lot of places. overall, no complaints and lots of pluses! — 10 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

my staple mascara

There's a Reason that Taylor Swift uses this stuff!
I'm 14, and new to the mascara world. After I ran out of my first tube of mascara, Bare Escentuals Mascara, I told my mom I needed some more. She had recently read in an InStyle magazine that Taylor Swift & many of the "big" makeup artists loved Covergirl Last Blast mascaras! So we took a trip to Target and picked up the fusion kind, which offerered volume and length-perfect! The next day, I went to church and recived many compliments on my lashes. School was the same way! I haden't recived even one compliment whn using Bare Escentuals mascara. Awesome!
I didn’t experience any clumping or flaking from the unique formula which I found easy to build. You know how some mascaras are dry, some are really brittle, and others are too wet? I can’t think of another way to describe LashBlast Fusion other than elastic. As I layered one coat on top of another, I noticed that it was grabbing on to itself, almost stretching–which I found pretty cool. Just like the luxury brands...but for less!
This is actually really similar to the volumizing formula; I don't see how it is much of a fusion of the two formulas (orange and yellow tubes). Before this came out I actually used the lengthening formula and the volumizing formula together. When this came out I was excited to see that they had my idea and combined the two, but it really just volumizes and separates. But it does so well. I love this mascara for day and if you layer it you can achieve a really dramatic lash look while still retaining separation. Flakes
I usually love mascaras from this line, and this one does a relatively good job at covering my lashes and making them appear fuller, but it flakes really badly! I so much as touch my lashes, and it comes off! The brush is nice though. LOVE
I have been using this mascarra for YEARS! I am hooked! This is lengthening, volumizing, and doesn't clump! If you apply is right you can get the fullest longest lashes! I get compliments all the time when I wear this. Im told: "Your eyelashes are amazing!", "Your eyelashes are so long!!!", "I love your eyes today what mascarra are you wearing and where can I get it!?" so many times. Boo to this specific formula!
I was disappointed after using this mascara. The formula was too much for my eyelashes.. instead of giving me volume..my eyelashes just looked flat and not thick and full... My Current Drugstore Favorite
No idea why this has such a so-so rating as I have really liked this mascara. I use both Black and Brown versions and I get good volume and no flaking. Plus it also lasts well. I agree I don't care for the brush, I like smaller as they give more control I feel, but can live with this one and it's easy enough to swap for a different brush if it really was a problem.
