CoverGirl Clean Pressed Powder, Oil Control Reviews

Decent, but nothing special
It gets the job done in wicking off oil. It comes off a little too powdering on my face and it doesn't control oil too much. Very soon after using this my face is oily again. — 2 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Eh
This is a fine powder, by all means. I used to use this all the time, because I have dry skin except my forehead and in between my eyebrows gets slightly oily. This powder does have oil control, and I think it works just fine. The only con is that you will hit pan very soon because the pan is not every deep/ But for very oily skinned gals, this powder may be a holy grail. I also like the nice color selection and the friendly price. Overall, a fine powder. — 1 year, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Good colors and good oil control
Using for the first time, there's no caking, no crumbling inside the compact, and is in this great sleek package. Oil-control factor works from applied in the morning to around lunch time/late afternoon, unlike most compacts (morning-mid morning). Color selection is slightly limited, but the powder is sheer enough so that shade-guessing in the store doesn't result in dire consequences. — 3 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

For me, this powder didn't control oil very well. Way too cakey — 1 year, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

What's old is new again!
If you have a shiny t-zone by lunchtime, listen up! I haven’t had this product in my purse since high school, and believe me–that was a long time ago! Recently rediscovered with it’s updated compact (that’s less likely to pop open), I’ve been using it to dab just a touch on my shiny spots throughout the day without disturbing my foundation underneath. I’m so glad I’ve opened up my eyes to the power of drugstore products again! I remember my old-school compact used to fling open all the time and the powder puff would fall out, but it doesn’t do that with this one–the shape has been improved, there’s enough space in between the powder and the mirror via a deeper “well†for the puff to fit inside when closed. I’m very fair and Classic Ivory (#510) is a great match. — 3 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 6 people said helpful

Want cake?
This would make my face look cakey when i would first apply it, and sometimes it would last throughout the day like that! It didn't matter what part of the day I applied it, whether it was when it was when I was getting ready in the morning or trying to get rid of the shine that afternoon. It would even settle into my wrinkles, and I'm not even close to being 25 yet! Yikes! — 6 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Love this!!
I've been using this powder for about 2 years now and would never switch! It does help reduce my oily "t-zone" and I live the sleek blue compact. I've been using the green one also for sensitive because of the humidity where I live causing my skin to break out! I love all the CG Clean Pressed Powders! — 11 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

YUCK!!!
I bought this so I could control my oily t-zone, not to end up looking like a cake! The powder just sat on my face and made me look cakey like no other. Way to thick and doesn't do anything for my skin. Maybe it works for some, but definitely not for me. — 1 year, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Didn't work for me
It left me with a wierd orange cast and doesn't last long at all. The color is poor but the texture of the powder is pretty nice and smooth — 1 year, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
