this does what it says I'll give it that but I found it to be a little too dark for my taste. It is creamy, thick and goes on alright, even though I had to really smooth it out. It holds eyeshadow and makes them pop but I wouldn't go out and buy this again. I'll stick with Too Faced for that. I am not a fan of this product. It just does not apply nicely. You really have to work it with your fingertips to smooth it out and it is still bumpy. It does hold your eyeshadow in place without creasing all day. I found it to make my powder shadows a little difficult to blend and the color washed out some of my eye shadow colors. It was also expensive. For the price, I prefer Bobbi Brown Longwear Cream Eye Shadows used under powder shadows. For an even better price, my favorite eye primer is MAC's Paint Pot product. I have light-medium skin and MAC's "Painterly" really pops and holds all of my powder shadows in place-it applies more smooth and allows the powder shadows to blend better and can be worn alone as a shadow.
