Finally!
A self tanner that does not streak or look orange on my pale skin! I have had several bad experiences with fake tan, but after reading and hearing such glowing reviews for Xen Tan, I decided to buy a bottle for myself. The lotion glides on easily and has a much appreciated tint to it that acts as a guide when applying. The scent is vanilla, but it mostly just smells sweet. As the tan activates you will get that ever familiar self-tanner smell, but I didn't find it overpowering. I applied this for the first time at night and I was amazed that when I woke up that I had a very subtle wash of color on my legs. Since I was weary of streaks and orangeness I applied a very thin coat. Since the results are actually natural, I know I can build up my tan with this, without it looking orange and obvious. I apply this straight with my hands and just wash them immediately after. It does not stain my hands or come off on my clothes or sheets. The results are meant to last a week and I would say that is fairly accurate. Because I apply such a thin coat, this seems to last more like four to five days on my legs and that takes into account that I exfoliate and shave my legs about 5 times a week. For a darker color, I apply this one more time within that week so the color can build upon itself. This product will be a staple for me in the spring and summer months when I am wearing skirts and shorts a lot. At $39, this isn't cheap, but it is more reasonably priced than the Clarins and Estee Lauder tanners that I have previously purchased. Plus this works so much better than those! I will definitely be repurchasing this amazing self tanner. If you are pale and have had issues with self tanners, give Xen Tan a try. — 2 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Doesn't Live Up To The Hype
This worked ok for me, but not as great as some of the reviews around the internet would lead you to believe. It was very messy putting this product on. The tint they add to the product that's supposed to serve as a guide ended up all over my sink, on my towels, and all over my bedsheets. The color I got the next morning after application wasn't bad, although it was little streaky. One thing I did like was the smell. It's a vanilla scent that kind of reminds me of ice cream for some reason. So this isn't a terrible product, but it didn't blow me away either (especially considering its expensive $40 price tag) — 7 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

So-So
Ordered Xen-Tan and Xen-Tan for face. Has a "vanilla" scent to it but turns arid just like the others; if you apply it right it doesn't streak, but still kind of "orangey" on me. I used to love savage tan but they discontinued it at Sally's. I have medium skin tones, somewhat combination type, dark hair and green eyes. If you're going high end, try fake bake mousse instead. Lovely "rose" scent and not as acrid or orangey!! — 3 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful
