didn't like it!
My hair is very thick and coarse and I used this because of how much people raved about it. Although the scent is to die for--kind of like a tropical coconut, it does not do an adequate job of hydrating thirsty hair. This made my hair feel coarser and more like straw which led to more breakage. Another thing--product buildup with this line is ridiculous. My hair felt heavy and you can feel the buildup in my hair when it was dry. This also made my hair tangle a bit easier because it had that stickier feeling that the shampoo and conditioner left. Although the product is pretty with the swirls and the scent, I could not finish a quarter of a bottle for either the shampoo or the conditioner. Looks aren't everything! More Build Up...........
My family has gone through every formula offered by Herbal Essences. We run into the same problem every time...build up. The first 2 or 3 times the shampoos and conditioners worked great and then they starting building up and giving all 4 of us (2 adults, 2 teenagers) oily roots, flakes, and frizzy ends. Herbal Essences just doesn't do it for me
I have tried this shampoo before and all I have to say is that it does not work for me. Each and all of these products dry out my hair, making it prone to breakage, and limp and dull. PERFRCTION IN A BOTTLE!!!
I have thick, curly, wavy, frizzy, dried out hair and so when I went out to do a beauty haul this immediatly caught my eye. WOW!
I was a test panelist for this shampoo when Herbal was bringing the line out, I was finally estatic when I saw the product on the market! The color swirl is catchy and the fragrance is wonderful. It is thick and creamy, lots of lather. Didn't weigh down my hair nor dry it out or harm my color. And it is always on sale. Dried my hair out
This product is thick and has a great scent but it completely dried out my hair. It literally made it hard, while it was still wet. Someone purchased this for me so I didn't waste the money on it. Very impressive!
Mmmmm. This smells delicious, it is thick and luxurious, and a little goes a long way. I have insanely dry thick coarse hair and this is so conditioning. I love the very creamy consistency. Not at all watered down or diluted or wimpy. I would not recommend this for anyone who doesn't have dry hair; it could be too heavy for you. I purchased this for $3.19, and for such a great price I am astounded with the results. I love this shampoo!!
This is one of my favorite shampoos! My hair feels so silky smooth after using it. It feels even better when I combine it with the conditioner. I was able to run a comb through it no problem (even without using the conditioner). I also really like the smell. Rehydrates, but not for Daily Use
I really do like this product, but I don't use it daily. Even though I know I'm not supposed to, I shampoo daily because I can't get over the dirty feeling of having 2nd day hair. I also haven't found a dry shampoo that doesn't make me feel like a hot, greasy mess. But shampooing everyday, even with gentle shampoos, sometimes leaves my hair feeling dry. I picked this up to use once or twice a week to give my hair an added bit of moisture. And it worked! Used in combination with my regular shampoo and conditioner, this shampoo helps me keep my hair feeling clean, but moisturized. It smells GREAT (and honestly, what Herbal Essences product doesn't smell great?). I have medium length hair, and a little more than the size of a quarter lathers my whole head. I can't really comment on the residue problem that other users have had, because I don't use this on a daily basis.
