  I love Olay's Regenerist line but the Pro-X products are great! My skin instantly felt softer and more hydrated and smoother! I have the day cream, under eye cream for dark circles, and the night cream and love this stuff! January 28, 2009, 8:11 am

  the Wrinkle Smoothing Cream was too heavy and greasy for me-- i have oily skin-- so after a week, i had to stop using it. i'm not a fan of waking up looking like a grease ball. i wouldn't buy this for myself. i ended up giving it to my mom to use, and she loves it. April 14, 2009, 5:33 pm

  Great Kit with Great Products

  The smart people at Olay have been at it again, coming up with new products to help in the never ending fight in the anti-aging wars. Our newest ally in the fight would be their Olay Professional Pro X. I tried their kit which contains the following: Age Repair Lotion with SPF 30 [1.0 fl oz (30 ml)]. Wrinkle Smoothing C...ream [1.0 oz (28 g)]. Eye Restoration Complex [0.3 fl oz (9 ml)]. You can pick this starter kit up for approximately $58.99 - $62.99 in stores such as Wal-Mart, Target etc and you'll get a nice little bang for your buck. I used the products on clean skin, like this. The age repair (which is reported to be good for UV exposure, Skin dryness and Fine lines and wrinkle) lotion goes on clean skin every morning, followed by the Eye Restoration Complex which the company tells us will also help skin's dryness, Crow's feet, dark circles and eye puffiness. The night time Regimen includes the wrinkle Smoothing Cream (good for alleviating skin dryness, fine lines and wrinkles, and uneven skin texture) followed again with the Eye Restoration Complex. Following this routine for about two weeks should show you marked improvement in your skin if you had any of the above mentioned issues, although I would add these products would be a good addition to your beauty routine regardless because of their helpfulness with UV exposure. As for my personal findings, I enjoyed the rich, creamy consistency of each of the products. They all went on smoothly and felt good going on my face. They weren't sticky or goopy, nor did they feel like they sucked in so fast that I felt like a giant sponge creature inhabiting the bathroom. They had a slightly herbal smell which I prefer to the slightly medicinal retinol-type products that claim similar results. I tend to have dryer skin in the cheek/under eye area, and I found that I remained a little dry in that area, so had to add a little moisturizer to that area under my make-up, but that would not deter me from using these products. Anyway, overall, after the trial period, my skin felt very soft and generally, better than it did before I started using the products. I would definitely give them a thumbs up and would recommend them to anyone who might be concerned with smoothing any fine lines or wrinkles that might be starting. The fact that the size products in the starter kit are all 1 oz or under, make them perfect for travel too, a nice perk. February 17, 2009, 6:55 pm

  PRO-X OK

  I have been using the Olay Pro-X Wrinkle Smoothing Cream for nearly 3 weeks now & haven't noticed anything great going on. I'm using it around the tiny outer eye wrinkles and light forehead wrinkles I have and didn't see any change yet. At least it hasn't irritated my skin. November 10, 2009, 1:48 am

  nothing to rave about.

  I tried the starter kit and was unimpressed. This cream was rich enough but after using an entire jar I can't say I saw any improvement in the texture or tone of my skin. The few mild wrinkles that I have look no better. I have seen better results from Olay's Regenerist line which is half the price. Don't waste your money! May 21, 2009, 1:14 pm

  Not impressed

  I purchased the "starter kit" - which had this, the eye cream and the day cream. I was not impressed - especially for the price. I got the same results at the regular olay products.   Three steps to Better Skin: I liked!

  What a difference 28 days makes. I'm always hesitant to try new skincare potions because I like to stick with what works. But Olay sucked me in with their new professional line and for once, I'm glad I'm a sucker. I went with the Olay Professional Pro-X Anti-Aging Starter Protocol, a three-piece kit that includes the Eye Re...storation Complex, Age Repair Lotion SPF 30 and the much-hyped Wrinkle Smoothing Cream. I say "much-hyped" because you can't pick up a magazine lately without reading about its wondrous results or seeing an ad. The Wrinkle Smoothing Cream is a nighttime full-face moisturizer that contains two types of peptides and Niacinamide (a derivative of vitamin B3), which work together to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and reverse the appearance of past skin damage. The advantage of this formulation over retinol night creams is that it's less irritating to the skin. So with the three-step system, I used my regular cleansing regimen (gentle cleanser in morning and salicylic cleanser in the evening) and used the products as directed -- Age Repair Lotion in the morning, Wrinkle Smoothing Cream at night and Eye Restoration Complex twice daily. The results have been fantastic. Even my aesthetician commented on how great my skin looked a few weeks ago when I went in for a brow wax. I think that by increasing cell turnover, the night cream was also instrumental in keeping breakouts at bay but that's just my non-professional opinion and the product makes no anti-blemish claims. Overall, I'm ecstatic with the results and like the economical price of the starter kit. The Olay Professional Pro-X Anti-Aging Starter Protocol kit is $68 and available at most drugstores and mass market stores.   enjoying pro-x

  olay's newest line, olay professional pro-x has done the studies and proved that it's not only as effective in reducing and preventing wrinkles as the most expensive creams on the market, it rivals the prescription stuff. in 28 days, the wrinkles of participants in a clinical trial were measurably smaller. the line is unar...guably more expensive than a typical drugstore line - with most products at the $41 dollar mark, but when you compare that to a cream that is well over $100 -- the choice is clear. if you want to dip a toe before jumping in the pool, i recommend the $61.50 starter kit to see if this line is a match for you. i've been playing around with the line myself, and well it doesn't have the luxorious smell of my favorite exorbitantly priced creams, it is a formible moisturizer, and i'm hoping, wrinkle preventer.   I love the Olay Wrinkle Smoothing Cream anti age treatment moisturize and hydrate your skin.

  I am a 49 year old African American woman with very little sun damage to my skin. However, I have very dry skin with some tiny lines in my forehead and I also have smile lines. My skin is very dry and it tends to be sensitive at times. I have been using the Olay Prox smoothing cream for about 2 weeks now. The product has ...made a noticeable improvement in my skin. The lines in my forehead and the smile lines around my mouth has softened and they have become less noticeable. My skin is not as sensitive, flaky and tight after only 2 weeks of use. The only concern of my after the use of this product is that the Olay Prox smoothing cream has a little bit of a chalking appearance and I believe that that is the result of having sun protection in the product.   Olay Professional Pro-X Wrinkle Smoothing Cream

  Every day I woke up with a single new pimple. Actually seemed to make my skin more dry. Wanted to like the product but I didn't. The product tries to be an upscale product but just seems to miss the mark. It's expensive for how little it does for my skin and jar lasts only 4-6 weeks. There are many more creams on the market... that will do so much more for so much less $, even other Olay face products. On a good note, the product has very little scent. December 25, 2009, 6:20 pm
